Men's jeans

Does anyone have ideas on great brands of jeans for men? It's time to update my husband's jeans style. He's a 32x32, and I think he tends to go too baggy -- and, dare I say, high-waisted? Like, Dad jeans?? I was just looking at Gap Standard Fit, and they look like a good possibility. Any ideas or opinions?

My husband likes Old Navy and Gap jeans in a straight fit or bootcut. And go for a dark wash-too light definitely looks like "dad jeans". Nothing tapered! I've been trying to convince my husband to try Banana Republic jeans, but he refuses to spend the money.

My DH just bought a pair of 181 Lucky jeans (their classic fit) in a dark wash after being mister-light-baby-blue-Levi-501s forever. He looks so young and handsome in those things! lol

Both DH and DS wear Levi's 505 regular fit.
