This is a rotation that I have made to help lose 10lbs of post baby weight & fit into those much missed Levi's!!!! Anyone want to join me?

Week one:
Sun: PLB + Body Max upper body only
Mon: Imax #1
Tue: Boot Camp
Wed: MIC
Thurs: 60 min Kickboxing choice
Fri: Step Fit
Sat: OFF or 45 min cardio choice

Week two:
Sun: Rhythmic Step
Mon: Imax 2
Tue: Cardio Kicks
Wed: Step Blast
Thurs: Supersets
Fri: OFF or 45 min cardio choice
Sat: Cicuit Max

Week three:
Sun: OFF or 45 min cardio choice
Mon: Imax 3
Tue: MIS
Wed: CTX All Step + Step & intervals cardio + 10min Ab Hits
Thurs: 60 min Kickbox choice
Fri: Cardio & weights
Sat: Low Max

Week four:
Sun: SJP
Mon: KPC
Tue: Leg & Glutes + CTX All step cardio only
Wed: PUB + CTX Step & intervals cardio only
Thurs: Step Blast
Fri: Imax Extreme
Sat: OFF or 45 min cardio choice

hi melanie!!,

i took cathe's nov '05 (fat burning focus) rotation and made a few tweaks to it in hopes of burning some serious (baby) fat off. so i can kinda join you although our workouts won't be exactly the same, they are somewhat similar. when are you starting? i plan on starting the rotation on monday. we can make sure we check in with each other to help stay motivated!
 
Hi Sunny! Thanks for leaving a comment. I was beginning to think maybe my rotation was really, really awful. I've never done one before...but I"m really excited about this one. I don't think I have ever done so many cardios in one week. Usually I did 4/week, and a sparse strength training.
Nov 05 rotation is VERY similar to mine...now that I looked at it. Let's for sure check in with each other. :)

haha..ok sounds good to me! so far i've been on a good roll with loosing the weight. i am very proud of myself. my dh took ds to mcdonalds the other day and i resisted..i didn't even have one french fry.
 
Wow! I'm proud of your self control. It's hard for me to control my diet, but I only had one oreo yesterday!!!

I started my rotation yesterday. Day one complete. Today I do Imax. This will be my first imax since baby. I'm so excited!!!

Sunny, how often do you weigh yourself? I like to weigh myself everyday, but I know you're not supposed to. As far as your weight loss goes, are you measuring yourself pregnant vs now? You've lost 18lbs, is that pregnant weight or post-pregnant wt? I don't know if I'm making since...

i have yet to measure myself...i meant to do it yesterday but forgot. so i will do it tomorrow morning. i weigh myself twice a week sun and wed. i like to do it in the middle of the week to make sure i am on track and it gives me motivation. i don't do it everyday because it doesn't change that much for me from day to day.
not exactly sure of your question but i will answer as best i can...before i was pg i weighed 125 i gained 40lbs while pg. so now i want to get 120lbs.
today i did lowmax for the first time...love,love love that workout!!!
 
I've certainly thought of weighing myself twice a week, but it seems to consume me right now, isn't that sad? I either weigh myself or try on my jeans daily.

So far, I've only had one oreo today (along with a bowl of cereal and a chicken enchillada). I did Imax today. It was fun. I did first 5 intervals on 6 inch plateform...and then moved it up to an 8 inch platform when I didn't feel as winded as I wanted to with first 1/2 of workout. I did just the intervals (no warm up) plus 100 traditional situps & 100 oblique sit ups (both on a ball). I'm thinking of maybe getting a second workout in later tonight, something light like Turbo Jam.

I gained 30 lbs or so this last pg. I've lost 20lbs and hope to lose 10lbs. I'd like to be in my jeans in the next couple of weeks. Do you think that's possible? I feel so loose in the middle, and I just started abs again yesterday...hopefully this will speed things up.

Bootcamp tomorrow, maybe I"ll do a short step routine too. What's on your plate tomorrow?

it isn't sad. i understand what you are going thru...it's hard looking on my side of the closet and then having to turn to dh's side for something to wearx(
i cannot wait to get back down to my pre-preggo size.
your workouts are absolutely amazing. my children don't let me get in that much time. if they did i don't think i could do 100 crunches...lol. you will be back into your jeans in no time with those workouts!
this a.m. i jumped out of bed before dh left for work and did 45 mins on the elliptical machine. it feels so good to be already done with my workout and not having to think about how i am going to fit it in today. although i may do some ab work later this afternoon.

Hi Sunny! This is the hardest I've worked out in a really long time, it feels good and it hurts sometimes too (in a good way). Just finished working out. I did MIC step portion + Bootcamp. Hopefully I'm going to try to get somemore situps in later today...it only takes a few minutes to do while watching tv.

Tomorrow I have my 6 week check up at ob/gyn. It's during my workout time, so I'll probably just do a short workout.

Oh, I LOVE ellipical machines. When I was a student I would use the colleges ellipical machine all the time. It was a Lifefitness machine. WONDERFUL! I've always wanted to buy one, but they are several thousand dollars. What kind do you have? I'm afraid if I buy a cheaper one I won't like it. I'm eager to find out if you like yours.

Do you have 2 or 3 kids? You'll have to remind me again. I'm so forgetful these days. ;) When I workout Jory's normally in school, Justin is in his crib for 'quiet time' and if I"m lucky Jadon is propped up in the corner of the couch either quietly watching me or sleeping. It has worked out so far. It's at 10AM, the same time it will be when I go back to work (end of Feb/early Mar). I also plan on getting a double jogging stroller...then I can workout whenever I want without giving up my 'free' time while the kids nap.

how did your dr. appt go today? i can't believe you are working out so hard before your checkup...although i must admit i did start before my check up also. I had a c-section. It's just so hard to see all that fat on your body and not do anything about it.

I bought my elliptical off hsn for about $400 on sale. It's not expensive but it's not a cheesy either. I really like it, you can program workouts and even download some from the internet.

I have two sons one is 5 and the other 4mths.

Today was supposed to be my off day but i want to do something. so i got on my lateral thigh trainer for 20 min and will do a pilates tape later on today.

I have a second interview for a pt job today and have to take older son to tae kwon do class (amongst many house chores) so hopefully i will be able to fit in the pilates tape.

what's on your agenda for today?
 
Hi Sunny! My appt went okay. According to their scales I'm about 15lbs from prepregnant weight (not the mere 10 I thought). This depresses me, but I'm more determined than ever! I also had a CSection, which is why I just now began my ab work.

At 730 this morning I did Janis Saffell's Kickbox Circuit as I wasn't sure if I'd be able to workout when I got home from doctor. I DID however get another workout in when I got home, I did Turbo Jams Cardio Party 1 + Upper body Ab Jam. I feel well worked out now.

I'm going to talk to DH about getting an ellipical machine. That's a quick & efficient way to squeeze an extra workout in & DH could use the cardiovascular workouts. ;)

Let's see. Today I had dr appts, workouts, and a trip to ShopKo (like Walmart). I got Jadon his first binky's. I"m not sure if he'll use them or not...but he's really fussy in the evenings. Maybe this will help.

How did your job interview go? What is the position? I think it' be fun to do tae kwon do. I'm fortunate b/c DH is stay at home Dad, so we're BOTH home during my maternity leave. When I go back to work, I will work 60hrs/2 weeks. I'm blessed beyond words, God is good.

I think tomorrow I will do Step Blast. I can't believe how much I'm mixing things up with my rotation!!!

i have a janis video also..brand new butt. i like it but i must admit love doing cathe workouts more...:p
how does jadon like his binky? my jaden hates his. i tried a couple different ones and he won't take it. so when he's fussy, which is anytime he is not asleepx( , i just have to comfort him as best i can.
today i got up early and did 37 min on treadmill. i am also trying to squeeze in another workout but today seems like a extra fussy day.

the interview seemed to go well. now it's just a waiting game (the part i hate). the position is for a pt. recruiter. i've been in hr all my career life.

Good day Sunny! You have a treadmill AND an ellipical machine? Wow! You must have quite the set up at your place. ;)

Today I was set up to do Mindy's Slammin Sports Cardio...but the VHS tape is broken and doesn't play well. :( So I reached in my cupboard and got Gay Gasper's step workout. I did 30 minutes of that...then I couldn't understand her moves, so I quit that and grabbed another video from my cupboard and did FIRM Ab Sculpt...then I felt like I didn't do enough, so I grabbed Step Heat. I really like Step Heat. I haven't done that in years. I feel well worked out now. :D

Jadon doesn't seem to like a binky. My 2 year old LOVES his (probably more than me!).

I am going to try to pump some milk so I have some stored in freezer when I go back to work. Maybe tonight I will. Are you nursing?

Jadon cries a lot. My 2 year old cried a lot too. My first baby didn't cry hardly at all. Jadon does sleep well at night...only waking to feed...so NO complaining here!!

What are you planning on doing tomorrow? I'm thinking of doing something off of Terminator or Hardcores Extreme. Do you have those DVDs? Maybe we can do the same workout?

lol, we have a treadmill, elliptical machine, lateral thigh trainer, weight bench. we are giving away the weight bench as we just ordered the bowflex!! i can't wait to get it in. i also eventually want to get a recumbent bike.

my jaden cries alot too! the name jaden means "ball of fire"...maybe we should have picked different names, LOL. he sleeps pretty well at night, he gets restless but if we just pat his back he falls right back to sleep. i started out nursing for like the first couple of months and then quit:-( . it was just too much for me. while i was nursing i also pumped alot so i still have a few more packets of BM left.

i do not have terminator or hardcore extreme. tommorrow's workout is pyramid lower body and 25 min. on the treadmill. can you switch your workouts or are you only concentrating on cardio?
 
I am concentrating on cardio so I can loose this fat. It is disgusting. It's real loose and flabby, just like jello. It's all super focused on my middle. Actually, I should look into an ab diet and see what I can do on that end to help shred the middle. How about you, is your weight evenly distributed, or do you have a 'problem' area?
