Mel's Complete Weight loss Rotation

Yes, I will check in. I need some motivation! You are a motivating lady lately aren't you. The babe must be letting you get some sleep?

Oh, Melanie, I thought of you when this happened (due to prior crib discussions), so I must share: We had visitors on Sunday who brought their kids. Well, we adults were lazy and kind of let the kids go off on their own (in the house) and my husband caught their 6 year old teaching Max how to climb our pantry shelves! Well, the next day Max climbed out of his crib! ;( I am kicking myself for not supervising the kids since Max is only 2! Woe is me!

I believe I would go to this "friends" home and teach their 6 year old how to blow up the house. That is a major bummer. I was so worried about Noah..but he is still staying in his. He turned two in December.

Briee (okay...that wouldn't be kind...maybe I'd just teach him to smear desitin all over the walls...this can be fixed }( }( }( )

Oh boy is life harder when you can no longer keep them "contained". I'm seriously thinking at times a cage would be nice. Nothing inhumane, you understand, just a pleasant area where they and their mess could be contained, surrounded by a ceiling high chain link fence.

(Okay--I think I'll have to put a sarcasm alert on this because it is a public forum and who knows who is reading this post forming negative opinions about crazy homeschool mom's with lots of kids who want to put them in cages--the media would love it)

It's just a season, it's just a season, it's just a season....

Emy, Justin is still in his crib...and he loves it. He bounces off the walls like he's a professional wrestler in the ring. Little Jadon is in a bassinnet & a port-a-crib. I feel so fortunate that Justin likes his crib. :)

Yes, you are fortunate! And do all you can to keep anyone who can convince him otherwise as far away as possible!

One day Max likes him crib, the next day a 6 year old has ruined him! I saw her at church last Sunday and I said, "I have a bone to pick with you." And went on to tell her the result of her teaching Max how to climb our shelves was that he now climbs out of his crib, and that if she comes over again, I don't want her teaching Max anything naughty. She stared at the floor the whole time. I told my husband and he thought I was mean and should just have said something to their parents.

I'm sure the 6 yr old was just trying to be a friend to Max (in a 6yr old kind of way). You don't think she thought she was being naughty, do you?
