medicine ball in muscle endurance?

any substitutions for a medicine ball in muscle endurance?

I'd like to order ME but I don't have a med ball and not sure when I will be getting one.. will an 8-lb dumbell work?

what exercises on ME require a med ball?

ME uses a medecine ball for chest squeezes (though you can use a child's play ball or any other large ball for this, which I prefer because I like to concentrate on the chest squeeze and not add any more weight to the shoulder). It is also used for ab work, but you can easily substitute a dumbbell, and modifications are shown for those who don't have a medecine ball.

I don't own a medicine ball and have no problem doing M.E. For the chest squeeze I grab my lil' guys small basketball and for the Ab exercises I use a dumbell! Susan
