ME vs. PH

Hi, Cathe, I posted this in the video forum, and thought maybe you can give me the response that I'm looking for:

I would like to know the differences between PH and ME. Which one is better to start with? The only strength Cathe workout that I have is the Slow & Heavy series. I want to buy an endurance workout but am undecided between the Power Hour DVD and the Muscle Endurance DVD, as I only have $50 to spend. The PH DVD also offers me MIS and Bodymax, which make it look tempting, but Boot Camp also seems terrific! The decision will be made upon how the ME and PH workouts campare. Please, help.

Hi Mariela,

I have the PH DVD, not the ME, but I did watch ME on FitTV the other day. It's my observation that both are total body endurance workouts, but ME's sets are more traditional up/down while PH's sets contain a lot of variety- up on 1 down for 3, up 2 down 2, up for 3 down on 1, etc. I've also seen Bootcamp, and it is an awesome workout. MIS and Bodymax are great also. I hope this helps your decision.

I personally find Power Hour to be much more difficult than ME, although that may just be personal opinion.

I find that ME is tougher for me than PH. It's interesting how people's bodies react differently to a workout. They're both fun, though.:)

I think PowerHour is tougher than ME, except for the biceps and abs sequences. So, I would definitely buy PH for the workout, plus you get MIS and BodyMax. I think you get a lot more workout for your money on that one. Boot Camp is a great workout though. For your purposes, I think the PH one is better, because MIS and BodyMax are both all about endurance also.
