Good Monday Morning Everyone!

Can you believe we are at week 4 of Cathe's May rotation? Wow! It's been great!

So have you all seen any improvements? I have seen strength and my legs look leaner, weight is stable but I haven't measured and I'll do that when the week 4 is over :)

I have iTread Drills 27 30min. for cardio and then PS Chest Shoulders Biceps.

Just because its a Holiday today - no excuses Ladies so lets get moving :)

Good morning! I did Amy's Slo-Mo chest/bi/tri this morning -- I liked it. Her chest work was tough for me! Somehow I was thinking the week started off with legs -- don't know where that came from, but I'm glad I re-checked. I'm not sure I've noticed a difference or not, but since I was out of commission for a while, I suppose that's fair.

What do you think you'll do next month -- Cathe's June rotation? I'm thinking about doing total body stuff for a while, but I'll see what she suggests.

Have a great holiday!

-Beth

I just got done with another Cardio Coach workout (I love those!!). Later this afternoon I plan to do Gym Style back/biceps.
I looked at the June rotation and it's close to what I already had planned. I only have the Gym Style series so my first two weeks will look very similar to the rotation. I also plan to continue with daily cardio. Last week I had good results with 6 days of cardio in addition to my 3 days of weights so I'll continue that schedule for a while.
Today is my birthday so we're going shopping for new clothes! Since last summer I've lost a clothing size. Granted, I would have liked to have lost more but slow progress is still progress.
Everyone enjoy the day.
Aimee

Well how is everyone doing?

Goodness is it quiet on these boards this weekend.... guess everyone is enjoying the weekend :)

I did iTread Drills 27 30 for cardio and OMG the hills section is wow! She wants you up at 10 % and 12% incline during the hill section too bad my TM only goes up to 10 % but mmmm it was a great workout!

Time flew by so fast!

Then after a nice long stretch I pulled out my weights for PS C/S/T and I upped my weights a bit and I am done!

I usually follow Cathe's monthly rotations, I may tweak it here or there but following them keeps me on the right track. Heck she has helped me shed 50 # back between 03-04 and I have maintained it this far.

Since she's my own personal trainer I pretty much do what she lays out.

I really won't know until Cathe puts it out next weekend but if for whatever reason I don't jive with the June 08 rotation I have all of her others printed up in my workout binder ;)

So for now its a wait and see - plus I just need to focus on getting through with this last week lol

My Cathe calender is all marked up w/ stickers and or notes :)

Hi & welcome to our check in - I saw your post in the other check in thread I post at also :)

Happy Birthday too! What fun, as we have many of us who have celebrated birthdays this month - myself included.

Don't you just love CC? I have all but the most recent CCv7 and I can not wait until v8 goes on sale then I'll snatch them both up. ATM I am foaming at the bit waiting for v8 as I have read some fantastic reviews on it already!

When you get a chance it would be nice if you can tell us a little bit more about yourself if'n ya want to share ;)

Well I'm off to get dinner started here.

See you all later Lovelies! :7

Hi Ladies!

My laptop has bitten the dust, so I didn't get on yesterday, because it's not so convenient.

Anyhow, yesterday was a rest day (I did work overnights the weekend though).

I'm pooped today, and have a bit of a headache. Not good.

I did perservere, though, and did PS: Chest, SHoulders, Biceps. And then added on 20 minutes of Turbo Jam Kickin Core cardio portion only.

I think i noted before, I definitely have gotten some upper body definition from this rotation. It's hard for me to say for my lower body. Because it's my tough part. Maybe a little leaner. I did end up going down 3 lbs on the scale!!! WHICH is HUGE for me, because I've been maintaining the same weight for jsut about 2 years now!! So I'm happy!!!

I like this rotation a lot.

I do plan on seeing what Cathe has in store for June.
Aimee... does she have the June rotation out yet? Which one are you looking at?

Okay.. off to take something for my headache and shower AND do supper !!!

~Chris

OK, yes, I was looking at the May rotation. June isn't out yet. Sorry, I can't remember what month we're in. So, I'll be doing something similar to May's rotation!

I also can't remember what check in I posted to. The "May '08" and
"Daily" check ins look so similar to me. So, I first posted to the "Daily" check in but then posted here. Again, I get confused easily apparently.

Here's the story of me. I'm 35 (today) and the mother of two little girls, ages 2 and 4 (this probably accounts for some of my airheaded moments). I work part time and stay home the rest. Since I'm not having any more babies, I'm working hard at burning off my baby fat. I have to admit I gained a lot of weight during my pregnancies. I'm currently sitting at 25% body fat and my first goal is to get under 20%. That's me and my fitness status in a nutshell.

Thanks for letting me join here. I'm glad scatterbrains are allowed.
Aimee:)

Happy Birthday Aimee..Welcome to out little group. Good luck with your fitness goals..May's rotation has been great so far. I only have a couple of days left.

Chris: I hope that headache is better...Good job on that scale. Mine hasn't budged. But, I know why!! I need to eat cleaner. I can't imagine what my body would look like if I could just eat clean!!LOL

Vilma: I think that this rotation has given me great strength gains too. I can see some better definition and I pushed myself some on going up in weights. so, I feel accomplished in that. Now like I said, the eating part is really really hard and I am struglling with that. But, I feel great that I am still sticking to my rotations and workouts!!

Beth: I like the picture of you..So nice to see you..I plan on doing Cathe's June rotation. I don't usually think about it I just do what Cathe posts. I like having the workouts planned out for me. Otherwise, I struggle with which workout to do. And that is a waste of time!!LOL

Today has been a long day...I got and did my workout early: Pure Strength back/biceps and abs..Then I did segment 1 of total body stretching. I just felt so tight. Then we got ready and went to see the Washington Nationals play. It was a lot of fun..

Have a great evening..Talk to you tomorrow..

Thanks, Kathy, it is nice to see what people look like. since someone posted instructions, it became easy for me.

Happy Birthday, Aimee -- hope it was a fun day for you.

I try to follow Cathe's rotations, and though I don't consider myself a rebel nor have I been diagnosed with ADD, some rebellious ADD part of me always wants to stray the course. I think this month would have been the month I followed it pretty closely except for my injury. I sure like having this check-in, so I'll try.

My kids' school is closed again tomorrow because of the fire. It seems crazy, since the school is in the other direction than my house and we don't seem to be in any danger -- it just keeps blowing the other way. I think I'm going to go absolutely nuts with them for another day, not to mention my work is going undone yet another day! Arrrrrg. And I've heard they're going to have to make up these days at the end of the year, but my boys are already booked into basketball camp at that point. Sorry, just venting....

cheers,

-Beth
