I think MIS would be perfect for you especially since you are already familiar with weight lifting(not that that is a prerequisite).
MIS is a total body workout that can be done as little as one time per week or as much as 3 times per week(on non-consecutive days). The video works best with an adjustable barbell along with various weighted dumbells.
I do not feel that this video is too advanced for you since you can lift how ever heavy a weight you are comfortable with for each exercise. I always encourage people to lift enough to feel the muscle reach a state of fatigue while using good form. There are many form pointers on the tape to help you double check yourself. Hope this helps you with your decision.
