Maximum Intensity Cardio

I just did this workout this morning after not having done it in YEARS (I just transferred it from video to DVD). It was so much FUN! I had a great time doing it. Once again, I was reminded at how awesome Cathe's cuing is. I didn't remember a single step from doing it years ago and was able to do the whole workout with out missing a beat because of Cathe's great cuing.

So fun!

Hi Lorie,

I just bought the DVD that this is on, and was planning on doing it for the first time later this week, so I'm so glad to hear that it's a fun workout! I really needed some new cardio, and am excited about all three workouts that come on the DVD!

Ummmm, I'm not sure "fun" is the right word :) but it is a good, tough workout. I generally pull that one out when I think I've overdone it a bit in the eating department. It is wonderfully easy to follow though. For me, its tougher than the IMAXes. The hi/lo is a doozy!!!

This DVD to me is the toughest cardio Cathe does! Just when you think you're about finished, she ups the intensity. I love it, but it's tough and you'll sweat buckets!

Oh Gosh, the Hi Low in Maximum Intensity Cardio is the floor cardio from hell!

Just when you think Cathe might let up a little, she kicks it up another notch!

I agree -- MIC is harder than any of the Imaxes.....

I love the way MIC changes from floor to step cardio.

It's a wonderful workout and is one of the first Cathes I purchased.

For me, a few Cathe workouts are a wee bit tougher than MIC (for instance, Cardio Fusion or the double cardio premix from Drill Max) - but I LOVE MIC. In my opinion, MIC's step section has the best music Cathe's ever used - Ohio Players, Stevie Wonder, Toni Braxton - I just enjoy the music so much - it makes me forget how tired and sweaty I am!!!

I too love the hi/lo from MIC, especially the last 15 minutes of the hi/lo section where it's all . . . well, HI. The step segment is a tad light for me so I haven't done that one in a few years, but I'll tell ya - you haven't lived (or died) until you've hooked on I-Max 1 (after the warm-up) behind the MIC hi/lo segment. That's a real ego blast!

Wormwoodscrubs, didn't know you were another Twin Citian! I'm in Plymouth!
