Mark Lauren / EFX

Justine, YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Somehow you made the family push-up look both fun and easy. Plus, those are some super cool braids in your hair (clearly I focus on the important things in life).

I couldn't love this picture more if I tried. :)

Lisa

Thank you! The braids are my 'I'm going out tonight and I wish my hair wasn't so darned straight braids'! I ended up collapsing through giggling so much.
tslop - probably best not to try 270# - YET.
Go on, give Nia a try. Don't get into a rut! As Keats said:
In Endymion, I leaped headlong into the sea, and thereby have become better acquainted with the soundings, the quicksands and the rocks, than if I had stayed upon the green shore, and piped a silly pipe, and took tea and comfortable advice.

Thank you Karen - weird thing is that my arms normally look scrawny (I've a 6ft span, so they're lanky), but they look solid in that photo. Maybe it was muscle pump!

LOL, Justine -- you've said that before (about scrawny arms), so when I saw those poppin' triceps in the photo, I was like... what was she talking about?!
Maybe you just needed someone else to point it out. ;)

I will be using all the Mark Lauren dvd's that I have. I'm throwing in Horizontal Conditioning. If I'm up for it, I may throw in a couple of the PiYo workouts. Just for some variety. At the Totalfitness dvd sale, I bought a couple of dvds, by Natalie Jill. (I hadn't heard of her) They're bodyweight, but very short. I think there are two programs on the dvd. They are each 17 minutes. Kind of a rip-off for $20. I have previewed them, and something about her annoys me. But, I'm going to use them. I want to do bodyweight until around the end of September, then I will assess my progress, and decide where I want to go from there. (More bodyweight, or more Nia) I'm thinking of doing bodyweight, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. On Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday I will be doing LWF2. Love it, so glad I bought it. That's my plan, for today. It may change tomorrow.

Karen,
I'd love to see your rotation for Mark Lauren, HC and PiYo if you're willing to share :)

I've been busy with other things this week, and I haven't put together a rotation. This week was just winging it. It will go something like this:

Monday AM - YAYOG Disc 1, PM - Mark Lauren Mobility workout 1 + 30 minutes of My Yoga Works
Tuesday AM - Natalie Jill workout 1, PM - 30 minute Tababa + 30 Minutes of My Yoga Works
Wednesday AM - YAYOG Disc 2, PM - Mobility workout 2 + 30 minutes of My Yoga Works
Thursday AM - Natalie Jill workout 2, PM - Mobility workout 1 + 30 minutes of My Yoga Works
Friday AM - YAYOG 3, PM - Mobility 2 + 30 minutes of My Yoga Works
Saturday - Horizontal Conditioning volume 3 + 30 minute Hiit
Sunday - 45 Minutes of Yoga

This weekend I'm going to try to put something together.

I've been doing quite a bit of Mark Lauren in between heavy lifting. I'm loving it! Mind you, the divebomber push-ups in YAYOG advanced ladders nearly finished me off this morning. Love mobility Rx as well. I must try Horizontal Conditioning again - I used to dread it, but I wonder if it'd seem easier / more fun these days?

I agree, Horizontal Conditioning has a big time dread factor. Nothing about it is fun, but it works, so I grind through it. Something about the baseball caps, as well. Yes, I am loving Mark Lauren, just what I needed at this point.
