Kathy, Jameson is in 7th grade religious education, but in 8th grade at school. He skipped a grade, but we didn't move him up in religious ed. It's not a mandatory thing, but he wanted to do it cause his best friend is planning it. The 8th graders put it together for the 7th graders. They do have a mandatory retreat next Saturday, but if they go to this, they are excused from the retreat. So, that's good, at least. He would have had to miss his band competition cause it was at the same time. I don't think he'd really care, though, he's really started to complain about not liking band! I think those experiences are great for kids (boxing up meals for the poor).
Chris, that does sound like a tough workout! I'm sure you're glad it's over and done with! I don't know if they get breakfast or not. They do have to bring their own snacks and drinks. I did find out he doesn't have to go to the high school registration - just the parents. So, that'll give him a couple more hours of sleep. It guess it's just to take more of our money!

They don't pick classes or anything yet.
Beth, sorry, no cupcakes for you yet today! You would think the kids would have had enough of each other! I can't remember - did you like the other toniques better than the first? I didn't mind the voiceover but some of the comments were a bit weird. Oh, and that outfit during the cooldown. Really??? I was embarrassed just having it on the TV! I can definitely see doing this on mute with my own music.
Oh, did anyone see The Office last night. Freakin' hilarious!! I was watching with the kids (they got an education

) and we were all laughing so hard.
Long day....seems like it's dragging.
