Hey Girls!

Did you sleep in Randi??? I'm late and the first one to start the thread... though it hasn't been hopping here too much. ...

Wonder what happened to Joanne? and Laura?

Maybe we'll all pick up April's Rotation and pick it up next week...

I just got done with my cardio day... Did Turbo Jam: cardio party #3, with weighted gloves. Now I haven't worn the gloves for quite some time, I just know my arms are going to be on fire tomorrow. But tomorrow is lower body day.. so it's ok!

I've decided to try to add in a quickie cardio in the afternoons, if I don't do my workouts too late in the mornings. to kick up the metabolism a bit. Yesterday I didn't run, but played about 20 minutes of basketball on our new hoop in the afternoon, while I waited for the boys' bus to come. Pretty cool, and fun!

okay, enough babbling.. time to get some work done!

Hey Chris:

I am here!! I was working out!! Cool playing some Bball!! I took the kids outside and did some jump roping with my daughter...

Checking in with the last day of the March rotation.. I did Pure Strength: Back, biceps and abs..I also added some FIRM cardio Split...

Tomorrow I am going to try FIRM cardio dance fusion and Amy's bootcamp..My sister, niece and nephew are coming tomorrow night for a long weekend. They will be leaving Tuesday afternoon. So, I will be resting until they leave on Tuesday. Just in time to start April's rotation..


Are we still going to keep our checkin going? I sure hope so..I have been so enjoying it!!!
 
Chris I still had to wake up at 4 to be at work at 6x( Great workout by the way!!

Hi all! I'm still around! Just got caught up in work/life/home issues. Nothing bad, just busy. I finished out my 2nd week of doing Amy's Slo Mo as a 3-day split last week. I got my new CIAs and Amys, so I've been trying those out. I also did Jari's Ripped and Chiseled this week. Really different after doing all these heavy weight workouts. This week I did R&C Monday, Sharon Twombly's new CIA Tuesday (loved it!), Amy's Hi/Lo Knockout Wednesday (fun!) and Amy's in the Ring this morning along with the ball section from Sharon's new CIA. Not too sure about In the Ring. I liked it, but some of the moves were tricky. Next time should be better. Lots of cardio so far this week.

I received my replacement disks for the 4DS series, so I'm going to do those the rest of this week, I think. Tomorrow I'm going to sub L&G for the 4DS legs and also do the Kickbox cardio.

I've been a bit distracted because my daughter has been sick. She's been running a fever. She was born with a congenital heart defect and had open heart surgery awhile back. So the doctors are always super cautious with her. Which is good, but keeps us running around! We brought her in Tuesday and they sent us to the cardiologist because they didn't like how her heart sounded. Freaked me out, but it turns out she's OK, hopefully just a virus. I also worry about her and it just reminded me that she'll always have this issue and things will always be uncertain. She's supposed to have another surgery within the next year and I can't think about it without having a mini panic attack. Sorry for rambling, especially since it's not workout related! Just needed to "talk", I guess!

Joanne: So sorry to hear about your daughter's illness. I will pray for her and hope that it gets easier as she gets older. How old is she? I watched the preview of Amy's in the ring and wasn't sure. I wasn't a fan of the kickbox xtreme workout. The new cardio hi/lo one looks good. Did you get that one?

Randi: I really liked the rotation. It was great trying the new Pure Strength (new to me)..It was a good opportunity for me to get some extra cardio in on those days...What rotation will you be doing next?

Kathy I'm going to probably stick with 4ds but do the premixes such as circuit workouts. I've been doing one body part a day for the last 5 months. So I think it's time i change it up a bit.
Just finished KM then GS floor work oh my god what a good endurance workout for you legs!!

Kathy, I did the new hi/lo from Amy yesterday and really liked it. I like KB extreme OK, but I think the new one is better.

I'm looking forward to working out with Cathe tomorrow - it's been a couple weeks since I did one of her DVDs. Experimenting is fun, but I'll always come back to Cathe!
 
Okay, Randi! You win the price on earliest up! You should be in bed by now (7pm).. I know I'd be pooped out! And then all that lower body stuff.. Did you do all of KM before the L&G?

Kathy.. I will definitely still check in here, if you guys are willing. I look forward to it! I think I'm going to focus more on endurance stuff. If April 08 Rotation doesn't look good to me I think I might do this one: (the cardio isn't ALL step, it's varied)

Joanne: Sorry to hear about your daughter. I hope she gets through the sickies ok!! I understand your "worry mode". That's Exactly how I feel about my son with Diabetes... always wondering and worrying. A friend at work is having a baby in July, and he has already been diagnosed with TGA, "Transposition of the Great Arteries". They plan on open heart surgery 2-7 days within birth. They say he'll be born blue...It all sounds so scary. I also have an online friend who had a son with a heart defect, and surgery. He's 8 now, and doing well, but does have medical issues.

So anyhow... I came back to tell you guys I did a new cardio for 15 minutes in the afternoon. It was quite light, but kind of fun. It was "the Firm's" Dance Cardio off of Comcast-on-demand. Anyhow, I got my afternoon extra cardio in! One way or another!
