Hi ladies. Back is better today...still a bit off but much better. I ended up doing some mild yoga stretches for the lower back yesterday and that helped. Today I did a 35 minute wonderful outdoor run followed by segment 1 of Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred. I may try to get some more yoga in tonight before bed.
Lisa, I hope the ankle feels better soon.
Jess, Zoey seems to leak more when the diapers are too small. They might appear to fit, but I know that if she is having repetitive blow outs, it is time to up the size! One every now and then I just chalk up to a massive poop, but every day...get a bigger size. Oh, and you are making me salivate talking about those sandwiches. I know what you mean about those iced mochas...they are amazing! I just tried the Cliff Kids chocolate brownie bars...they satisfied my sweet tooth. Have you ever had those? YUM!
Wendy, I think I may have missed an announcement. Are you pregnant again? If so, how far along?
Kate, I don't know my exact schedule yet, but I do know I start on the wards. That means I'll be taking care of patients in the hospital on the regular floors, not the ICU (thank goodness!) I was afraid I'd have ICU first, and that one is really intense and scary. I don't have ICU until October, so by then I'll be ready! While on wards, I'll have to arrive around 7 am and will stay until at least 4pm (more than likely like 5 though). Then every 5 days, I'll be "on call" which means whenever a patient needs to be admitted, I'll have to work them up and admit them. This will require staying at the hospital until 10 pm on weekdays and overnight if my call day lands on a weekend day. Every Tuesday evening is my clinic time, so from noon on I'll see patients in the clinic. Believe it or not, this is a pretty cush schedule. I chose a community program (not a big university program) for this very reason. Other places have you on call every 3 or 4 days. Even ICU is every 5 day call here (which is basically unheard of). But, needless to say, I will not have time to bake bread, even though I agree that it is fun to do.
Oh, and the Great Wolf Lodge...is there more than one? We have one here in Cincinnati and it is super close to my parents.
Lisa, I am super impressed at your ability to stay in a budget. I won't even say what we paid for the pics we had taken of Z when she was first born. It's embarrassing how much we got swindled!
I am going to try to workout tomorrow morning, but we are supposed to help my little brother move (he's not so little though...he's 23). He and his fiance are buying a house. So, my workout depends on Z and her sleeping. I'm sure I'll get quite the workout lugging boxes though...must be careful for my back!
Have a great night ladies.
Becky
