hope everyone has a great day!

Candra - Beautiful family!!
Kate - I'm so jealous that Julia is sleeping through the night!! Pomai is almost there, but I don't know what was up with the other night. She was smiley and happy, but I was sure tired.
Wendy - I'm thinking the babyjogger since I can put my carseat in it also.
Hi Skyy, Steph, and every other mama!!

Kids will be home from school soon. Been working everyday this week. Eating clean, but need to get on the weights. It is muggy here!! Yuck! Happy Hump Day!

Lisa

lisa, i dont know how you maintain the schedule you do. i was just commenting tonight to mike how thankful i am tha im not dealing w/ work crap anymore. made me so incredibly grumpy to do that & mother too. our marriage is sure better off too w/ me not so stressed all the time.
dont congratulate us on sleep just yet! julia just had an unscheduled wakeup!:p comfort-nursing right now. "hurry, julia! i want to get back to my wo!":p

Kate: I finally was able to sit down and think of some goals. You know about my biggest loser contest with my hubby. I had to sit down and think about how to attack the next 12 weeks and what rotation will help me burn some fat. So my goal is to find a rotation and actually stick with it this time!! Of course the bigger goal is to eat as clean as possible!!

Wendy: How are you doing with eating under 1500 calories? Sometimes it is hard to believe that salads have as much calories as burgers. I’m thinking about buying the jeans in the size that I anticipate that I will be at the end of the challenge, but that is kind of risky…

Clarissa: How are you doing with your goal?

Lisa: I bet your cupcakes were wonderful!! Happy hump day.

Candra: way to go with the camping thing!! I went with my hubby when we lived in Alaska and to tell you the truth—I hated it!! He loves to camp though. When I go out to the “field” with the Army, I have no problems (probably because I’m forced to go), but when I have a choice… nope. Nice pictures!!

Laura: how is it going with your new bundle? You probably don’t have time to post just yet.

Stephanie: I hope that you are having a good week. Your family hike seemed like a workout in itself (a good, fun, workout)!!

Hope that I didn’t miss anyone, If I did- I will get you next time.

For me, I have been able to exercise two days in a row- and I am feeling it. Yesterday- I pulled out Slim in 6 and did “start it up”- don’t ask me why, but it felt good. Today- I pulled out Pure Strength and did all of the upper body exercises!!! I had a wild hair that I was going to do the tank top rotation. But hubby said that I will bulk up in the shoulders if I do, so now I am back at square one. Don’t know which rotation to do and I have so many DVD’s to choose from. I guess as long as I do something…. Right??

Kate - If we could afford it, I would quit in an instance. I can't complain though. My boss is good. Shucks, on Julia getting up. Did you get to finish your wo?

Skyy - I'm bad with rotations. I can never stick to them. I have workout add or something. I'm glad you got your wo in. You just gave birth too!

Got GS BSB done. No walk today since it looks like rain. Cooking dinner for the family. I love home cooked meals and wish I had more time to do it. Planning for pilates tonight. Have a good, sleepful night mommies!

Lisa

I am doing great Skyy. I have lost 4 lbs already. Nothing drastic, just eating well and exercising 6 days weekly. I did start my period this morning, though. Brody is 7 weeks old and since I am not nursing, I guess that is why. I wasn't expecting it, since I had nursed the others. Oh well, so I imagine I will be scale-heavy this morning because I feel crampy and bloated of course. Is your hubby on board with this weight loss challenge?? How do you think he will do?

Kate - WOW! 11 hours thru the night! I am jealous!

Hi to everyone!

Clarissa

laura, those are amazing photos!! i love the ones with the sheep and i also looooove tiny baby feet =) do they care for you really well in german hospitals? i hear they do. or were you in a us military hospital? enjoy and sleep sleep sleep!

clarissa... working out 6 days a week after giving birth? nothing drastic huh? lol... but you go girl! and i am full time nursing and still got my period at 10 wks pp. doc said its cuz im sooooo fertile.

lisa - lol on the workout add!!! sometimes i feel the same way. i just do what feels like fun that day but keeping in mind what ive done already that week.

kate, heres hoping you got another full night last night!

skyy - the salad thing... its the dressing that does me in! i know better than to order salads with bacon and cheese and all kinds of crap on them (i see ppl do it all the time thinking theyre getting a "healthy" salad lunch) but those store dressings are quite nasty. next time i take out a salad need to use my low cal and tasty dressings at home!

1500 cals / day was going well until last night. was already at the top and went to moms nite out... where i had 2 beers and shared a plate of nachos!!!! bad wendy =(

walked 5 miles yesterday with the baby - walked to his dr appt and back! so tonight i have to do chest and back and abs because thats what i missed when JJ woke up during LIC tues. im hosting playgroup today but instead of waiting around at my house on a beautiful day i offered to "host" at the park across the st - so if no one shows i can still get jj on the swings!

have a great day,

wendy

Hi mamas!
Wendy--Your walk sounds so great! Wish we lived in a "walking city" with sidewalks, so I could walk to the store, etc.

Laura--Such sweet pictures!!! I love the one of you holding your little one!! He's sooooo tiny!! :)

Clarissa-- You're a machine! You totally put my workouts to shame, and I'm 7 months pp!!! Way to go, girl!

Lisa--Do you like pilates? I get SOOOOO BORED! Maybe I just have the wrong instructor on DVD -- it's a Windsor Pilates DVD... YUM on the home-cooked meal! I love cooking. It's a stress-reliever to me.

Skyy--Way to go on your workouts! I wouldn't worry about bulking up in the shoulders. From everything I've heard/read, it takes A LOT to get bulky. I lifted pretty vigorously before getting pregnant with Charlie and never saw so much as a shoulder ripple.

Kate--How did Julia do last night? Hope she had another good one!

Candra--Are you caught up on laundry? I too am trying to tackle the big pile of laundry in my laundry room. I've almost got it all done, but now the folding. HATE the folding!
-----
Well, Charlie did much better sleeping last night. I didn't have to put him in bed with us until about 5 a.m. I think he's liking sleeping on his tummy, though I hate it. I worry about SIDS soooo much. I got up twice last night just to turn his head to the side because he had it directly down on the mattress!! I'm happy to report that my eating is clean AND I've been working out. Hopefully I'm back on track again. :) I'm scared to death of this swine flu though. I went to the dollar general today and bought four bottles of hand sanitizer. (Yes, I'm a germ freak.) I made DH buy Lysol and Chlorox wipes yesterday because our friends in California said that their stores are pretty wiped out of the stuff. I worry because they say the swine flu is treated with Tamiflu and another med, but I'm pretty sure that those meds are just for adults. What do they treat kids/babies with? Hoping that my sons' schools are being extra clean/precautious!! Anyway... Enough of my crazy germaphobe rant.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!!!

Clarissa - I got AF 9weeks pp and then haven't gotten one since, but I was surprised since I was exclusively bfing. Good job on the workouts! I'm impressed with your regime - 6x a week already!

Laura - Adorable pics!!

Wendy - Hope your playdate went well, and we all need a couple beers sometimes! Hope you enjoyed it!

Steph - I got my Costco pack of Lysol wipes. I'm a germaphobe too. I did another refresher with my kids about washing their hands with soap for at least 20 seconds or the ABC song unrushed.

Working from home today. I have to run some errands though. Pay a bill then off to Target to get a bath ring for Pomai and some bath toys. Oh and some rice cereal. Planning on doing B&G today.

Lisa

well, no wo for me tonight=( i feel like complete garbage. started around lunchtime and its just gotten progressively worse all day. hope i dont have a swine flu!! im sure being up with jj at night so much lately doesnt help my immune system stay strong... so im going to bed right now and hoping i wake up better!!

wendy

hey moms!

short on sleep here but not really julias fault. i cant get to bed before 1030, usually 11. she goes to bed around 7, sleeps til 3 or 4, nurses til 5. i cant get back to sleep so im basically up everyday around 33o, getting 5 hrs sleep. getting my wo's done early tho so thats a plus. ive ate totally clean all week - tonights cheat night - homemade creme de menthe brownies w/ homemade choc ice cream. cant wait!

skyy, no worries on no rotation. easy walks - let that body heal! easier said than done, i know!

lisa, anymore gs this week?

nice pics, laura

clarissa, yuck to af! julias almost 7 months - thankfully not yet for me! it was 2 yrs after i had isabel - yesssss! altho, we were ttc and i was so sad.

wendy im jealous of all the walking you get to do! not the case around here - we're too far out.
hope you get feeling better!

stephanie, as soon as dds come home from school i send them straight to was their hands! yuck!

hello candra & maggie, trish, and anyone else im not thinking of!
becky, hows the move??????

Hi everyone!:)

Kate-your brownies sound great!! Enjoy them! Good job w/ wo's and clean eats:D All on very little sleep:confused:

Lisa-it is so easy to over spend at Target:( I always come home with way more than what was on my list:eek: Have a good day at work:)

Stephanie-I finished my laundry, how about you? I was also worried about the swine flu, but with the new cases slowing down I think they made a bigger deal of it than it was. At least that is what I hope:p

Wendy-how are you feeling???

Maggie-Where are you????

Becky-How is the new house??

Hope everyone is having a good day!!

I take Ryder in today for his 6mos check-up. I am dreading it, especially if he gets a fever like he did last time:(

Well I got my wo and shower in!! I need to go pick up Owen and run some errands bbl!!

Candra

candra, hope ryder did ok today:(. poor baby!
wo & shower - sounds great! most times i manage the wo but the shower part gets delayed!:confused:
is your pre-k done soon? 2 more wks for us! i can hardly wait to be done with the driving!!!! 5 more wks for elementary.

Kate-Ryder did good at his appt. He stopped crying as soon as I picked him up:) We have 3 weeks and 3days left!! Both boys are on the same schedule. I can't wait to be done driving!! I had to wake Ryder from his nap to pick up Owen today:mad: Next year they will be at the same school and it is only a 5min drive from the house:D How were the brownies?????????

Candra

yay ryder!!! so glad it went well!
boy do i *hate* how prek schedule messes w/ the baby's schedule! cant wait til thats over! only 5 more pre-k sessons!!! however, im sad for isabel bec she loves it so much. going to havve to be sure to schedule lots of playdates for her. mom + baby = boring.:p
is your k'garetn full or half days. ours is half. i requested afternnon so i can have that long baby's afternoon nap ALL TO MYSELF!!! amen!:D
no brownies yet.....waiting to get into bed w/ mike & a movie. oh how i love friday nights!!!

kate - boy that friday night in bed with hubby and movie sounds so good, i cant wait!!! 5 weeks till my guy gets home! would love to see that brownie recipe... i am a seriously late night person normally, so ya know im not myself when im in bed at 9 like the last cpl nights=/

candra - got the ball yesterday... that was so very nice of you, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so glad ryders appt went smoothly.

lisa, i always overspend at target, too! at least they have a liberal return policy (one that i use all the time lol - i am a habitual returner, the kind that stores probably hate) and for the most part stuff is cheap. i am hoping to find some cheap but decent quality patio furniture and target is def the first stop. i wanna surprise my guy with an updated and nice-lookin yard when he arrives!

hi steph, clarissa, maggie, skyy, laura!

becky... you out there?? probably up to your eyeballs right now...

i am still not feeling so hot. my belly has been off plus achy all over and dizzy when i bend down sometimes... workout seems like a BAD idea but i am really feeling the pressure not working out even if only for 2 days. i so wanted to be losing more than this by now!! this is day 3, maybe ill feel up to it later on.

so, sleep update - i realized what i had been doing differently since jj started waking all the time last week and now cant believe i was so dumb!!!! i stopped putting the sleep sac on figuring it was getting too warm for it. so thought of it 2 nights ago and since then hes waking up 2x (which is back to what he was doing before - down 7ish, up 1ish then 5ish and then for good 6:30 or so). no late night screeching!!!!! who knew? guess i need to get one of those summer weight sleep sacs! once i let this pattern go a few more nights i think i can start to work on getting him back to sleep without nursing =) pheww!
