MAMA MIA! =) 3-23----->

Good morning, mamas!

Kate and Clarissa--your baby pictures are SOOOOO yummy! Kate, that drool is hilarious! I can SO relate! I've given up on trying to keep Charlie in dry shirts! I love the color of that room your baby's picture was taken in, btw.

Maggie--I'm sorry about your ankle. Boy do I empathize. Does it bother you when you do leg weight work? Let us know what the doc says.

Wendy--I also live in yoga pants. Sorry your playdate people stood you up. How rude! I hope you have lots of sun there today so you can go to the park!

Lisa--How's your cold? I hope you're feeling better. Did you get your dd her present?
---
Well, it's raining here today so I'm thinking Oliver's soccer practice will be canceled tonight. I kind of hope so. The local Y is renting soccer fields from this guy who has lots of land, so they are kind of rugged, and we parents have to drive along a dirt path to get to the fields. Not fun after it's been raining and the dirt path is a mud path.

I'm hoping to get a workout in today, but quite frankly, I've just had so much trouble finding the time in the day to do it. What a copout, right? Eating is good, just eating TOO MUCH. I made baked tilapia with wheat cous cous and asparagus last night, and it was SO good. If I hadn't have had BREAD and wine with it. Ugh. Anyway, I'm feeling a lot better/more energetic just by cleaning up the eating. I fit into some jeans yesterday. (I had bought them for after the baby, so they were a lot bigger than my old size, but I hadn't been able to wear them out in public until yesterday. Yay! Baby steps ...)

Anyway... I'm posting a picture of Charlie that is a few weeks old. I need to download newer ones off of my camera, but until then, here's my little chub:

Just sticking my head in again for a quick hello and update...

Home inspection was yesterday and everything was pretty great. A couple of electrical issues we're going to write up today and try to get the sellers to fix before closing, but repairs shouldn't cost more than $600 total.

We're still up in Ohio....leaving tomorrow morning. I've been getting on my parent's elliptical as best I can. Some days workouts are pretty short...like 25 minutes though. The day before yesterday I did do CardioCoach volume 6 all the way through. Crazy workout! I love it! I am now a CC convert.

Oh, our new house has a finished basement with a 20x12 media room and a 20x12 room that is already set up like an exercise room. I'm going to keep it as such, and add puzzle mats and mirrors on the walls. Once we move in and its done I'll take pics...I am so excited about having my own fitness room! It will be big enough for the elliptical, treadmill, and a cathe cardio area!!!

Becky

Oh, and I forgot to mention how bummed I am that I can't preorder the STS cardio right now. I need to not spend any money until after closing. :(

THanks for all the nice commetns on Julia - we love her soooo much!

Becky, GREAT NEWS on the house! Sounds wonderful! You're moving up to my neck of the country - I'm in MI. I love our weather....well, most of the time!:p
Glad you like CC! IT's addicting to try to beatmy mileage! I keep track on my Cathe calendar in the kitchen. Everyone can see it so I can't slack!

Maggie, Rest that foot! NOT GOOD! I'm so scared of an injury! Tell DH that Cathletes say you need an ellip or a bike!;)

Stephanie, Oh, Cahrlie is too sweet!! What a doll!!!
WTG ON THE PANTS!!!! Your dnner sounds yummmm btw!
Was soccer cancelled?

Wendy, Have fun yoga-ing! And ME LOVE YOGA PANTS!!!!:D
Bummer on the playgroup! Tht's pretty rotten!

Lisa, Great wo's! I did DM the other day and had so much fun!
YOU DONT KNOW WHAT NOBAKES ARE!!?!?!?!?! Your lucky waist line! It s a cookie you make w/ pb, melted choc, and oatmeal. SO INSANELY GOOD!!!

----

I took a rest day yday - too busy and was feeling burnt out.
Woke up early today to do an hour of Classical Stretch - wow, that worked out some kinks. Then I did 23 mins on the Versaclimber. had so much energy and beat my footage record by 100'!

Speakin' of energy, I'd better use some of it and get busy.....

hi ladies,

I've never posted on this thread before but I wanted to cut in and say: Kate, Shephaine your kiddos are so cute.... how old are your babies?

Yes Kate and Stephanie - absolutely adorable babies! How old? Kate - yours is 5 months, right? Babies are so much fun!!

Clarissa

Hi Skyy-- Thanks for the sweet words, and welcome! My Charlie will be 6 months on April 2. Growing SOOOO fast!

Kate--Sounds like your rest day really rejuvenated you! Great workout today!

Becky--Your new house sounds wonderful! Post pictures of your workout space! :)

Well, I've yet to hear from the soccer coach, and I don't want to drive to the fields and get stuck in the mud. DH said just not to go, but I hate to miss a practice. Maybe the coach is planning on letting us know later on. Fingers crossed! We've had such a nice/relaxing day. Henry and I made beds for his stuffed animal dogs and his baby dolls (yes, he has three baby dolls and calls them his "babies." It drives DH nuts. I think it's sweet!). Then he played with Play Doh forever. It's amazing how much kids love that stuff. Talk about cheap entertainment! Charlie has been so sweet. His little gums are bothering him, so when I hold him, he tries to shove my hands in his mouth. LOL I got completely covered in drool this morning. Kate, you know what that's like, judging from your pic!! Well, I hope everyone is having a good day!! Hooray for Friday, right??!! :)

Hi ladies--disk 11 for me today. That 5% increase--I'm really feeling it.

What's more of a bummer than the scale not going down? the scale going down, but the inches staying the same. I was down another 1lb this week, but my inches have not changed since the middle of the month, so I can't even be happy about it.

And then not to be able to do cardio.....humph.....

But to make up for the lack of cardio, I have to eat super clean and I have several tempting events between now and Easter, so anyway, I'll just quit my b*tching and moaning now.

Wendy--I'm sorry no one showed up. That would seriously bum me out (I tend to take things rather personally). I live in work out clothes at home, I have a couple of looser dresses for church, but just around town/errand clothes are far and few between. I'm going to clean our room today. That should help. (I wonder what's shoved under the bed?)

Stephanie--who cares about the scale if you are shrinking? Hurray for the pants! And oh Charlie is absolutely yummy! I have a hard time keeping my hands off a cute baby (as my little darling knows:D). Leg work doesn't really bother my ankle. I just can't figure out what happened to it.

Becky--the workout room sounds great! My stuff is crammed in the living room and the garage. Sorry about STS cardio, but it will still be there.

Kate--I really want a spinning bike precisely for times such as this. Dh and I will have to debate whether to spend money on that or other things, choices, choices. One thing around here, exercise equipment always gets used. Maybe I can find a good used one (someone else who bought and isn't using....) I keep hearing about Cardio Coach. hmmmmm.....

Hi Clarissa, Hi Skyy!

Maggie:)

hello skyy! julia kate cupcakesnugglefuzz is 5 months! i was looking at her nb pics last night.....made my ovaries twitch - i want another one!!!!:eek::D those 1st days are so precious!

stephanie, amen for playdoh!!! but im so anal and i just have to close my eyes when they mix it and it turns ugly!:p
lol at dh/dolls! mike would be the samr way!

maggie, your inches will catch on soon! you're doing great!
how are you liking the leg work? i totally loveit! i can really see changesw/ it.
you NEED cc!!! it is awesome!!!

Maggie--If you're like me, it takes FOREVER to see any physical changes, but once they start coming, they continue quickly. I am also sad about no cardio for me, but I am SO SCARED of reinjuring. It was pretty traumatic when it happened. I'm such a wuss. I say buy the bike! (I'm such an enabler!!)

Kate--I'm also pretty anal about the play doh. I usually throw it away if it's mixed or getting dry. I also am kind of a germ phobe and the thought of little snotty, dirty hands touching something continually and then reusing it? No thanks. So, we go through a lot of play doh.

As for cc, do you have to be able to do incline on your treadmill to use it? I have an 11 year old treadmill that I never have figured out the incline. But I'd love to get cc. Does cc work on any MP3 player? I can't afford an ipod, sadly.

No soccer practice tonight AND no games tomorrow. Woo hoo!! (bad mommy, I know, but muddy fields and cleats, yuck!!)

DH brought the boys McD's for dinner (I'm a bad mommy that they talk about on Open Discussion boards who lets her kids have Friday Night Mickey D's night. And I'm proud of it :p) Anyway, he brought me a skinny latte. How sweet! (Yes, MD's lattes are yummy ... and cheap!)

Well have a great weekend, guys! I'm going to scrounge up coupons. Harris Teeter is having triple coupon weekend for coupons up to 99 cents, and that means BIG savings. I love it. It's like a challenge for me. I am SUCH a dork.

Hi ladies. No workout for me today...and I ate out and ate dessert! I've been bad the past couple of days. I don't want to weigh myself when I get home. It's hard to eat healthy when you're not at your own home and you're running around like a chicken with your head cut off. The sellers accepted our inspection changes...just a couple things that shouldn't cost them much, but it was great to not have to negotiate at all...they just said okay (especially since they didn't negotiate much on the price)

We're going home in the AM, so there won't be a workout tomorrow either, but I should get back into the swing of things on Sunday. I will some major cardio!

Stephanie, your LO is adorable. That tilapia sounds great...and so does the wine and bread.

Kate, I've heard you talk about it a lot, but what is a versaclimber? I guess I could just google it...but I picture a stepping machine. Sounds like a great workout.

Maggie, you MUST try Cardio Coach! I was turned off originally by the price, and did itrain workouts instead, but since they discounted the price, I bought 3! I have only done one so far, but it was AMAZING!!! I am a complete convert. The machine said I burned 1011 calories in 50 minutes. I usually don't trust those calorie counts, but I may believe that I was working so hard. Think MIC hi/lo with its intensity but you are actually enjoying yourself instead of hating every moment of it (at least I hate MIC)

Lisa, hope you feel better. That cold I had last month is still lingering a bit...periodically I get junk in my throat...so icky. Hopefully yours is a different virus!

Clarissa, you are doing an amazing job with only so little to go! You probably didn't gain as much as me (40#) So embarrassing. No bake cookies are sooo good, but I haven't made them in a while. The humidity in Florida keeps them from sitting up properly. Maybe once I'm back in Ohio...

Wendy, that stinks about hanging around your house while the rest of the playgroup was at the park.

I think I'm pretty caught up. I probably won't be on again until Sunday with all the traveling tomorrow. We're going to try to do it in one big shot tomorrow...we'll see how that goes.

Becky

Yeah I did it! But I lost a really long post in the process:mad: Well that is Owen holding Ryder. I will bbl w/ personals we are having movie night and everyone is waiting for me! Have a good night

Candra

:)Good Morning mommies!:D

Stephanie-Charlie is absolutlely adorable!!yeah for no soccer today! I also really like McD's lattes. I think they are better than starbuck's, not as bitter. Have fun with your coupons.

Maggie-I saw a spinning bike at Costco the other day. I think it was under $400. I'm not sure if that is a good deal or not. Hang in there a lb came off somewhere. My weight comes off slowly too.

Lisa- I am in the same boat as you. I need shorts but do I really want to spend money when I am still losing weight.

Becky-congrats on the house! You will love having your own w/o room. How is Zoey doing with all the traveling?

Kate- Julia is too cute! I love seeing the baby pics. When are you going to Chicago?

Hi to everyone else!:)

we have b-ball today. I hope to squeeze a run in b/f we leave. It is nice and warm here today!

Here is some more pics of Ryder and his room!
You guys are going to wish I never learned how to post pics:D
