maintaining

Hi Cathe
I have been using your tapes for about five
years now. I am very pleased with the results
I have achieved, I was wondering if I need to
continue to add weight when strength training
to maintain or do I continue to challenge
myself. Some days I really struggle and others
are fairly easy. I do not always feel sore the
next day. I think that the new tapes will be
great for variation. Just wondering if I need to
keep lifting heavier to stay fit. Hope this makes
sense! Thank you,
Michele

Hi Michele!

Once you have achieved the strength and/or definition that you desire, you no longer need to train with all out intensity each and every workout. As a matter of fact you can cut back to about half of your workout load for about 3 to 4 weeks and then go back to your normal rotation for a while(and then cut back when again working for maintenance etc.). The new workout tapes strength sections are actually structured as more of a maintenance rotation(even though they can be used in other ways too). They are a perfect compliment to the PS Series rotation.
