In the Pacific NW the moon is still low on the horizon. The trees all around is hiding this event. I can see light, but not the action. I'll keep checking though until it gets higher and then maybe in-between the trees I just might be able to. Wish me luck.
>Is anyone watching this tonight? Should be really cool!
>It's clear here and we're just starting to see the shadow
>creeping up the side of the moon!
Yep it is awesome I let the kids stay up to watch. I wish I had a telescope. I think it will be a gift for Christmas. There is going to be a Solar Eclipse in August Can't wait.

I saw the beginning, unfortunately for us where we live, there's a storm coming in and the clouds have now covered the eclipse. Oh well, at least I got to see the start - that was cool especially with the big ole moon low on the horizon!
That was cool, I watched on the beach, listening to drummers at a drum circle. Someone also had a telescope set up, I took a peak and saw craters on the moon as well as Saturn and its rings and some of its moons.
Hey Shelley We couldn't have asked for better conditions for the eclipse hey? It looked completely 'other wordly' at 10:00, made me wonder if that's what the moons look like in Narnia. I love that stuff, it made an otherwise low key Wednesday night into an event.
