I love it! I don't know if the sound problem was just an initial problem that they had and have fixed it or what. But no sound problem here. And what fun! Plus I get a good leg work?! Woo hoo!
Ok, just had to say that I love it!
Low Max is a good one, that's for sure! I tend to use it on those days where I want to work my legs and I want to do cardio, but I don't have time for both. It does fry the legs, don't you think?
Yeah, I had no idea what to expect, but my legs were sore the next day. That surprised me! Plus I really had to concentrate on some of the moves because they were so new and I got lost at times. That was a nice surprise for me as well.
Hi Kathy,
I love LM too! I remember the first time I tried it was when I was doing the Hardcore Series Celebration Fatloss Rotation (think it was March 05) and I had done KickMax the day before! Woohoo! My legs were "talkin' to me"!!!

I'm new to Cathe. I started with basic step. I was able to get through it on my second try so I jumped right into low max. It's challenging for a new comer but I love that I can grow with it. The premixes really help. The 8" step really kicks it up a couple of notches....
I haven't had any problems with any of my hardcores. (LM, MM, & CM)
I'm addicted! I haven't felt this way since I started the Firm back in the 80's.
Yes, Low Max is a favorite. I burn 200 more calories doing this one than IMAX2 - and I don't have to launch all 5 feet 10 inches of me into the air once.

I feel like such a newbie to exercise now that I've found Cathe and this board. How do you know you burn 200 more calories, do you use a heart rate monitor or something that tells you that???
Good question. Yes, I do have a heart rate monitor that calculates calories. I'm often surprised that the workouts that seem to be so much harder are really not.
I have been wanting to do LowMax! I just bought a CD with most of the songs and I'm LOVIN' it! I'm trying to finish up the august rotation so maybe I'll finally be able to do it next week.
How's the Aug rotation going? I think I'm going to start it in October. Meant to start in September, then I got called away with the Red Cross - and it took me 2 weeks to gain back my cardio strength - but I think I'm finally there.
Suprisingly, it's not as difficult as I imagined it would be. Don't get me wrong, it is tough but I'm surviving! Bad thing is - my eating has been awful so I've actually gained weight! Good luck!
