Low Impact Series- Those returning to Fitness

Hi Cathe,

I have had to take some time off from most types of exercise other than long walks (3-4 miles) so allow some recovery time for my knee and shoulder (I also have wrist issues now as well). As a result my fitness level has taken a total dive. I preordered the series in May and am curious as to what your opinion would be for someone with my or similar circumstances? Meaning, how many workouts per week would you recommend doing since I obviously will be too under trained for an Advanced rotation? I was thinking about sticking to shorter premixes for a while but I was unclear how many of the workouts I should strive for to help me improve my strength and endurance without over training?

Thanks for any and all help that you may provide!

Go easy Mrs. Princess.

I think three times per week for the first three weeks is plenty. Then add on a fourth workout if you feel ready. Yes, select a shorter premix to start or just do as much as you can from the original workout. Modify any moves that aggravate your wrist, knees and shoulder. Good Luck and listen to your body!
