Low-impact advice withdrawls!!

So, I posed a week or so ago that the Hyalgan injections are beginning to help my knee pain. Well, stubborn me- my knee felt so good that I went against doctor's orders and did an Insanity workout- which I regretted! So, I'm banned for Step and high-impact workouts for another two weeks! I'm really having a hard time getting my heart-rate up high-enough with the lower impact wokouts.

I did classic Boot Camp with modificatios today and that was good. Any other suggestions?? I swear, I'm having Cathe Step and Insanity withdrawls!

Help me, Cathletes!

I recently purchased a rope from AOS and have used workouts from calropes.com.
It's low impact and you won't have trouble getting your heart rate up!
My 3 nephews tried it and want one. For some strange reason boys love the ropes.
I am totally amazed at how it can work you so hard in such a short time! I have tried the Ventura ( I love it ) and just finished the Eureka routine from calropes with the exception of burpees.
Talk about a well structured simple but totally killer workout!
I highly recommend the ropes!

You could try doing low-impact moves, adding light weights for intensity.
Or low-impact Tabata (20-second bouts of as-fast-as-you-can moves, choosing moves like static lunges, squats, etc.

If you have access to a gym, maybe you could check into a short-term or trial membership? That way you could use their elliptical machines. They're truly wonderful, with no impact.

That said, keep in mind that the whole point of this is to recover from your injury. I know it's hard to slow down - Been there, done that! But I speak from experience. You're really better off if you can find a way to wrap your brain around the fact that slowing down is better for you in the long run. You've already learned that trying to rush it only causes more trouble. So hang in there and let your poor knee recover. :D
