Hi babes! I'm sorry you have to wait until mid October to find out Rhea! I too will be keeping everything crossed for you until then!

My desk at work almost looks like a mini-kitchen. I have food everywhere so I won't run on fumes. No one likes to see me running on fumes!

DH used to have a mini-frige at his desk at work that he kept stocked (long story as to how that came about) but that's another option for you Rhea.

Been kinda liking the restful life I'm having and am feeling betther already, yippee!

Off to Portland to see an old friend and stay the night. We put BB on some steroids for his allergies (poor little guy is scratching himself silly) and one of the side effects is restlessness. I'm happy to be getting a break from that tonight!

Hope you have a great (and relaxing) trip, Tracy! Glad the recovery period is working well for you . Poor BB - hope his allergies soon calm down!

Hi babes! I had fun in Portland but didn't rest enough. I've been needing (and taking) naps since then!

BB's scratching is gone but we aren't going to put him on steroids again unless it's absolutely necessary. The side effects are not worth it. Increased appetite, increased thirst, lethargy or restlessness. Plus he's too young to be on those meds I think. If the scratching returns, I'd rather investigate the source rather than treat the symptoms. (I do know other dogs that have had the same scratching issue pop up at the same time BB did so I don't think it's food.)

Anyhoo, enough ot that! My life of rest hasn't been as much fun as I would like. I really miss working out! I've cheated just a little and walked during my lunch breaks and walked at the lake today after work with DH and BB. It's been nothing strenuous at all though, I promise!

On Friday I am going to CA to see my dad and help him with a garage sale (the whole neighborhood participates on the same day once a year). I was pretty appreheansive about going home earlier in the week ('Cause my mom should be there!) but now I'm looking forward to it. I have a few little fun things planned to do too.

Tracy - I am glad BB is doing better . Hopefully there is a good "home" remedy should that happen again. Hard to believe he's going to be a year old tomorrow - wow ! Enjoy your trip to CA - I know there'll be sadness involved, but hopefully there will be a lot of joy, too .
