Hi fit babes! Good to see everyone here! I think I'm a little better than I used to be OCD-wise on workouts. I don't wear anything that counts stuff but if I miss too many workouts, it really affects my mood!
I haven't done any rotations lately, just winging it and going with whatever I feel like doing. Seems to work pretty well for me.
I'm glad you like your job Melinda and the variety you get, that's great!
Getting variety in our jobs can be challenging for a lot of us. I too am sorry about the secretary, I hope you don't have to interact with her too much. My mom always said to kill them with kindness so there is no reason for anyone to be rude and if they are, they have the issue and are unhappy people. We have a outright mean girl in my division and she has alienated so many people that hardly anyone talks to her. I only do if I have to.
About that sleep thing: well, my OB/GYN said that it gets harder for everyone as we mature.
I have a pretty hard time getting to sleep every night and wake up at least once. I try to sleep in one weekend day of the week, but Americans as a rule, are sleep-deprived. I heard that years ago. I take melatonin regularly and I just read that taking deep breaths when you can't sleep can help. I'm tired of being tired too!
I made it through the stadium stair climb with a better time this year! I was more mentally prepared, weighed a little less and it wasn't blazing hot.
Starbucks was even there giving away free coffee and goodies. I enjoyed the coffee.
PFFFT is how I'm feeling about work right now--and it may be a little while before it gets better. I'm frustrated, angry and stressed but I've shared that with so many of my co-workers that I don't feel alone in it.
They are supportive, it's just a matter of getting through to the new boss! Rhea, I wanna retire like you wanna! I can't of course, but I haven't met one retired state worker who isn't happy they no longer have to deal with crap!
Have a healthy rest of your week!
