Loving the July Rotation!!

Is anyone else really enjoying the July Rotation??
I am really loving it and the variety is so fun!! I am doing the rotation and also trying to follow the South Beach Diet. I have lost a few pounds already !! ;)

I feel motivated when I have a rotation to follow, do you also??

Hi Linda, I'm doing the July rotation. I started a little late so I'm just finishing up week one. I am enjoying it so far. I would love to hear your experiences. Have you followed it pretty faithfully? Is it more or less cardio/weights then you usually do? I do like to follow rotations for two reasons. the first is so I don't have to figure out what to do next. I can actually psych myself up for workouts when I know what is coming. The second reason is that I don't feel I have enough knowledge to really create an effective rotation that won't be too much. Of course I have great faith in Cathe's ability to create great rotations. (BTW I followed the April, May and June rotation. I stuck a 'free form' week inbetween May and June which is why I am behind now. I would love to check in and hear details of how its going. Interested? -joy
 
I am also following the July Rotation. I am in the second week. I just did Cardio Kicks last night(I am a day behind):D . Every time I do this workout I sweat like you wouldn't believe. It looks like I have taken a shower when I finish :eek: . I think my next rotation will be strength focuesed.. But of course I will wait to see what Cathe's August rotation is like !

If you don't mind be asking, how is the South Beach Diet? I was thinking of starting on that program myself. Is it hard to follow? Is it like Atkins?

I totally agree with you about the good points in following a rotation. It does really motivate me, cuz I can set up my equipment the nite before and I am also mentally psyching up for that particular workout. Also, when I would just randomly pick a workout each morning, it seemed easier to skip a day here & there - or maybe do an easy workout cuz I felt tired. By following Cathe's rotations, I am totally confident it's working our bodies in a really good way.
Wow--You've been on 3 other months of rotations-YOU GO GIRL!! I did June (except for 10days off for vacation)& LOVED it. I am loving July's cuz it seems to challenge me with workouts, I often skip....
LIke Imax 1 /MIC /and Circuit Max.
Keep up the good work, Joy. Yes, I am interested in keeping in touch with check-ins on the rotations. Sounds great !! ;)

Donna, I woke up too late to do Circuit Max this a.m. - so I did a Precision Pilates workout. Tomorrow it will be Circuit Max.;) I usually seem to prefer the strength workouts over cardio -- so this rotation is good to give more of a Balance.

I am liking the South Beach Diet- I think I lost 3 lbs. and I started on Monday. I tried Atkins and my Cholesterol jumped so HIGH -- I got off it. SBD seems like less fatty foods- altho' it's still low carb and more protein than I usually eat. I am not 100% following it and it seems to be working well. Great recipes in the book -
Keep up the great work --- I like Cardio Kicks a lot too!!

It was MIS for me today,since I missed it yesterday.

I also bought the SBD book and have started reading. It does look like something I could follow without too much trouble. And you are right the recipes look very good! Good luck with the July rotation and your weight loss. I am going to start the SBD on Monday, wish me luck. :)
