Love the new twist on the Biggest Loser-SPOILER ALERT

I just love this show! Although they've been hinting as to what the twist is in the game, I didn't want to ruin it for anyone who doesn't have any idea. I think it's the greatest thing what they're doing with Jillian. I don't know if she's only in it for this episode but it is making for some great anticipation. I almost cried when I thought the 6 who weren't picked were going to go home. I was screaming at the t.v. "this is mean, it's just mean!" I can't wait to see how this first show ends. It's really inspirational although I know not realistic for the average person as to how hard these people are worked every day. It is a life changing experience. I just love this show! Oops, did I already mention that? :p

I love the show - watch it faithfully every year - but I really dislike Jillian. I hate to see them bring her back.

Personnally I would love the chance train with Jillian! Someone to push me harder and make me mad when I am ready to give up.

I'm with cakebaker on Jillian. I only watched one season with her and found her to be rather obnoxious. I'd get sick of her personality fast in a real life situation.

I like the "tough drill sergeant" approach, but the way she did it was a turn off.

Bob could be tough, too, and got a lot out of the people he worked with, but he wasn't nasty like Jillian. Has anyone besides me notice that her normal facial expression is a permanent snear? There is NOTHING likeable about her.

I LOVE jillian and DESPISE kim. Funny huh?!? I like Bob too, but not nearly as much as Jillian. Kim is too...uh...what's the word...pushover for me.

Is it just me, or is the weight loss each week too much?? Don't get me wrong, but I just don't understand how people lose 10, 20, ++ pounds.... is that healthy?? Not that being obese is healthy, obviously, but I just don't get it.

I like watching but in some ways it makes me discouraged - like the girl who "only" lost 7 or 8 pounds and was made to be like she failed. It's a game, I know.....

Anyway, just my thoughts

When you have a lot of weight to lose, you lose more initially. As you get more fit, it's harder to lose. These people were taken away from all the food they used to eat and just given a prescribed diet which has to help right away. They also seem like they're really working them hard. Some of them looked like they were about to have a heart attack just walking down the hill to get to the trainers. It's also easier for the men to lose more weight than tjhe women and a couple of the men were over 400 pounds so they lost more (both over 20 pounds). It was nice that Jerry (I think that was his name, the 62 year old) lost the most at 31 pounds. I think it's good that they go by percentage lost rather than pounds lost because I don't think that would be fair. Actually, the one who lost only 7 pounds went home but they showed that she did lose 65 pounds after she went home which was nice to see. I'll be curious to see if the same people who lost over 20 pounds continue to lose that much each week or if the weight loss goes down.

I know that you lose weight more quickly but 31 lbs. in one week seems too extreme. Is it truly only in one week? I know they'll say a week but I know that on Wife Swap, they say the family's swap each other's rules for one week but it's actually 5 days. So a week on the Biggest Loser could be 10 days. Still, that's a lot of weight to lose no matter if it's 7 days or around that.

I think Jillian is extremely tough and her style wouldn't work for me but it does work for others. It just depends on your personality.

I tried to get onto the live chat last night and couldn't quite get it to work. It also wasn't showing the questions and answers in one block. I had to keep shifting screens and even then, I had a hard time matching up the questions with the answers.
