Love the longer shorts this year

What a great style for those of us whose legs are NOT our best attribute.

I love them rolled up just under the knee. Finally a style that works! I no longer dread the summer

I just bought a 2nd pair at gap tonight

Capris are great too but these are more casual. I love them. I hope they stay in style a long time.

Yeah, I am loving the new shorts too. However, this doesn't mean that short shorts are to be discounted. A hot 'celebrity trend is ultra short shorts seen on the likes of Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and of course, Daisy Duke herself, Jessica Simpson. I guess the shorter shorts are for the 'younger' generation and the knee highs are for everyone.

I'm with you! Last year, I had the hardest time finding a good length short. I just went through the same thing with bathing suit coverage. I like fall/winter clothes the best. Melissa

I can't seem to find any I like. They are either waaayyy too short or just long like you mentioned. My hubby calls me goldilocks, but I would really like to find shorts that have a 3 inch inseam, that would be ideal for me.

Charlotte...Old Navy carries shorts with a 3" inseam. I have a bunch of them. They're low waist, but don't sit too low...they're juuuusst right and come in a bunch of different colors. Have you checked those out? I'm with you, I have a hard time finding just the right length. Juniors are way too short and misses are way too long. Petite, if you can find them *rolls eyes*, usually work for me.

Thanks Susan...that's my baby(all 90 lbs of him)Corbin. He would live in that pool if we let him. My other two love the water too....but oddly my old girl Abby won't retrieve either.....and Bailey, he just retrieves to keep the toys away from Corbin. My boys just will not share. What's a doggie Mom to do??? Just one Lab for you??? They are so much more fun in bunches.....yeah, right.... Have a nice weekend!

Victoria secret (catalog or on-line) carries London Jeans shorts in 3'"and 5" inseams and some are on sale right now.

I guess these are really short capris... but I love them... low on the waist, right under the knee. I'm 5 2 so I guess you could call them capris but I just love the look and for once am not self conscious in the summer.
