I was thinking that it might be Ben. I thought that it was someone who wasn't liked since nobody showed up at the viewing. Thoughts?

I just watched LOST last night...and it looked to me like the casket was child-sized?!? Did this occur to anyone else too, or am I crazy? And if it was Jack in a "flash-forward" then why was he talking about his father as if he was still alive? Well, this is Lost after all, and maybe he really is still alive!

I did notice that the casket was little small,but I thought that it was just my impression.
When Jack was takling about his dad, I thought that it was due to the pills. Maybe not!

I was wondering about that as well. Maybe it was just because Jack was drunk, and delirious? The prescription could just be him using his dad's name, but when he said to the other doctor that if his father wasn't as drunk as he was, he could fire him....?
As for who was in the casket? No idea. I don't think Jack would be sad about Ben dying. And if the casket was small (I didn't notice), it could have been a woman (Juliette?).

Gosh, it was a good episode, but just more questions. Why do you think that Jack wanted to go back so badly? And, like you all said, why was he referring to his father, both in the prescription and at the hospital if it was a flash forward?
Why does Locke think that they shouldn't go back? Who are these people that they just radioed? Do you think that Desmond will get there to let them know it's not Penny's ship? Sigh, so many questions.

I didn't even think of the fact that it might be Ben! That would make sense at this point anway!

And Loche isn't making any friends on the island and at this point he's actually losing some and he's on his own journey which seems to be isolating him from everyone.

Okay, what was the deal with Walt saving Locke? If Walt is still around, where is Michael (I lost interest for a while, so Michael could have been killed for all I know)?
I don't think it would be Ben in the casket because I don't think Jack would really care being that he beat him within an inch of his life and I think Ben would die rather than ever leave the island.
I still want to know who the heck Jacob is (if he is even real).
I don't think Charlie will end up dying. Look at Locke. Shot and left in a pit and he lived. Remember Charlie can hold his breath for a really long time. I just have a hard time thinnking the writers would write him off the show. Although...I am not a fan of his character.

The boat...if the end was a flash forward and they did get rescued, then wouldn't that mean that the boat was okay? If it was bad, they wouldn't have been rescued, would they? Who knows?!?!
Even if they did get rescued, I don't think Locke would go. He's going to stay on that island come hell or high water, IMO.
It seems like every time they answer one question, it brings up a million more.
Who was Kate referring to when she said she needed to get home to "him?" Sawyer?!

I think Sawyer may be in the casket, he is another one with no friends and Jack would have expected Kate to be at his service, but who really knows?
