"Lost" on TV last night

WOW!! I haven't watched this for awhile (since around October I think). Everytime I'd turn it on it would be a rerun. Well I watched it last night and when they showed the "creature" in front of Eco (sp?) I sat there the whole time with my mouth wide open. What the **** was that? That was the most freaky thing - and the sound it made. Gave me chills. Also, what is the relationship between the doctor (played by Matthew Fox) and the tough-girl brunette (was part of Eco's group). When Eco brought Sawyer back and he said So and So made a mistake ( I didn't catch the name) the doctor stopped and kind of looked stunned. Do you really think that it's Walt on the computer with Michael?

Thanks,
Kimbra

RE:

Hi Kimbra!

I don't think it's Walt. Someone is playing with Michael I think! As far as I know Jack and Ana-Lucia have no relationship beyond the fact that they had a drink and a chat in the airport lounge before boarding the flight.

Yeah the black stuff was neat and unexpected. I said to DH, Look, the monster is second-hand smoke! :p

That smoke thing was just crazy! And I thought for seeing a weird smoke creature, Echo and Charlie were certainly not that taken aback by it!! I mean, wouldn't you spend more time on: what the HECK was that smoke-creature thing that just came by????

I don't think it's Walt either - and I wonder why Michael is not telling anyone else about the communication over the computer! He didn't hear the film warning them not to do it, so as far as he knows, it's not wrong!

Ruppie, didn't Locke have Michael watch the film? I could be misremembering, what with the early onset of senility I seem to be experiencing lately...:D

It's odd to me that no one has dashed back into the jungle to look for what. When Jack was telling Michael, "no one's forgotten about Walt" I thought, well yeah you have! How about getting a search party together, people?!

RE:

Michael is not communicating with Walt. I think he's corresponding with the Others...

The smoke thing was eerie! Did anyone see images of people in the smoke? I thought I saw a woman in the smoke!

RE:

Sparrow, If Locke had Michael watch the film and he saw that part, and I missed it (very good possibility!), then it makes A LOT more sense to me that he's not mentioning that he's communicating!!!
Thanks!!

RE:

i love that show!!

i don't think it's walt either. i am also wondering why he is not telling anyone about the communication.

I didn't notice them at all, but on another site somebody posted the images that were in the smoke. But take a look!

Namita - those images are cool - I didnt notice any of that during the show - I have it on DVR and might have to check it out to see if I can see any of that. I did like getting the back story on Echo - I thought he was peaceful dude the whole time - had no idea what he was really like.

As far as Micheal - he has seen the first 'cut' of the movie that they had - but he has not seen the extra footage that Echo brought back I beleive. That extra footage is all about not using the computer for anything else...

RE:

I thought the extra footage was playing when Michael first got on the computer and that he heard it.

I still can't get over how everyone just goes off alone into the jungle without a second thought after everything that has gone on.

I would totally be consumed with worry over the black smoke. What is it? Where did it come from? Will it come eat me while I'm sleeping? What does it want?

I'm really wanting them to fail at entering the code and hitting execute to see what would happen.

I LOVE this show and am so glad they are showing new epsodes.

I agree! You wouldn't catch me wandering into that jungle no matter how many people I was with.

I also agree that Michael is not communicating with Walt because why would Walt ask Michael if he is alone? Sounds more like something "The Others" would want to know so they could lure him into a trap by himself.

Liked the background story on Ecko but they still didn't explain how he came to be on a plane flying from Sydney to Austrailia. Was he looking for his brother?

You'd think so, even though Charlie has seen it before (and maybe Eko)? Interesting smoke/electricity thing going on there. Now there's a clue that if you don't run, it won't chase you !

No, Michael was at the computer when Locke watched the film.

RE: black smoke

Some of the boards think that the black smoke cleansed Ecko of his "sins" This is why you see the images of his past. Interesting concept isn't it?
