Lose a little, gain a little..when will it end??

Turquoise eyes, I, for one, can use all the help I can get up top! Lol! Bigger there is a bonus to me!

It sounds like you have had severe physical problems also. Do you mind details? I had major back surgery 2 years ago and still deal with pain issues. But working out helps so much, both physically and emotionally.

I also went through the death of my boyfriend and yep, exercise was my savior. It was one hour a day that I didn't think of all the bad stuff. Plus I also take care of my elderly parents.
Thanks so much for your motivational stories.

And you are MORE than welcome to have some of my chest "blessedness". Sometimes Cathe will start doing some jumping move and I'm thinking, "She clearly doesn't realize the two black eyes I'd give myself with my DD bust (even compressed by my workout bra designed to be bulletproof) aren't worth jumping that high..."

If only a bust-donation program was possible, I'd gladly be the first one signing up to give!

I just wanted to Shaw results from this morning. Yesterday, instead of eating my usual sleeve of whole wheat crackers throughout the day, I substituted hard boiled eggs and yogurt.

Did a great 45 minute step workout last night and 15 minutes of Sts in the morning.

Scale today is DOWN from 178 to 175.4!!!

Sometimes It does take a closer look at what you are doing. Also, I went to the endocrinologist and I have thyroiditis.

I can speak for no one but myself, but wheat/gluten were a chief contributor to thyroid, fibromyalgia, migraine, and sinus issues I had. It also makes me hold water weight like crazy. I believe there are some scientific links between thyroid issues and wheat for some people (genetics, maybe?), but don't quote me on that. Might be worth researching, though...Protein and good fat is my saving grace, I'll say that much!

Oh, yeah, upper body part sharing! Bring it on!

Funny you mention gluten and thyroid. My boss's wife has thyroid problems and celiac disease. She went gluten free and saw a lot of improvements. My ultrasound was normal and blood work should be back today.

I will have to research going gluten free. I wouldn't know where to start!

Horselady,
A lot of the forum members use The Nourishing Gurus for dietary advice. They have some great freebies on their website that might be worth checking out...these ladies even helped our own Cathe and got her energy levels up to film the RWH series. I think there are some old posts that you can check out and maybe ask some of the other ladies about the Gurus' programs??? The Gurus are extremely knowledgeable and are wonderful, personable women...GOOD LUCK!

That's awesome! I'll look at their website. My diet could always use refining, and who couldn't use more energy!? :)
