Looking to lose a few pounds.

I'm looking to lose about 10 pounds. I'm new to Cathe, and I was wondering if I'm better off doing cardio for a while, and then eventually add weight training, or should I start immediately alternating the cardio and weight training, i.e., cardio Monday, weights Tuesday, etc.

Welcome!!! I would start strength training immediately. Well, once you're ready to work out that is, not this exact second! Anyway, the weight training will speed up your metabolism and give you definition. I started with the CTX series and dropped 2 sizes in 2 and half months! What videos do you currently have? There are lots of smart, educated people on this forum that can offer you great advice. I might not be one of them, but I'm here to cheer ya on!
 
Thanks Jillybean!!! I have a lot of Cathe's videos. I bought two at first, then had to buy more, I got addicted instantly!!! She's awesome!!! Anyway, I have all tapes except for Rhythmic Step, Power Hour, Slow and Heavy Series, and of course her newest Intensity Series...not ready for that.
Do you recommend alternating days cardio then weights? Or both the same day? Thanks for the advice!!
