Here is what we already do and am looking to maybe shake it up a bit and add some cardio with NO step.

Pyramid Upper Body on Monday and Ab Hits
Pyramid Lower Body on Wed and Ab Hits
Muscle Max on Friday Do Upper Body and Ab Hits

I need some cardio on off days, no dancing and no step please. If the cardio would also be the leg workout then all the better, we would do more upper body on Wed. unless that would be too much. And suggestions on different upper and Lower body workouts maybe, although I like the Pyramid workouts. The wife and I workout together, have for years. We like it tough too, so dont be easy on us.

Thanks a Bunch all you Cathe experts:)

I would suggest either Kick Punch & Crunch/Legs & Glutes, Kick Max or Drill Max. KPC and Kick Max are great kickboxing workouts. KPC also has a nice ab workout on the stability ball. Kick Max has 10 high impact blasts to really get your heartrate up and also has leg conditioning drills at the end which are killer. Legs & Glutes is also a great workout with some cardio in it and not a lot of equipment and it moves very quickly to give it a cardio feel. Most of Drill Max does not have the step. It has six drills. Two of the drills use the step but you could do them without it on the floor. It also has some great cardio premixes.

I recommend the Gym style workouts for strength training. It's a 3 day split and it's very good. For cardio, try any of the kickboxing workouts: Kick Punch & Crunch is a good one and comes with Legs and Glutes - which you could use as your lower body. Drill max is a fantastic cardio workout. Some of the drills might use a step, but you certainly don't need one. I like coremax better than ab hits. Coremax gives you 3 ab routines - 1 uses no equipment, 2 uses a stability ball and 3 uses a handweight.

Gym Styles: Back, Shoulders, and Bis
Gym Styles: Chest and Tris
Legs & Glutes
Cardio: Kick Punch & Crunch

supersets and push pull is another DVD for strength training if you want a 2 day split. It's not one of my favorites, but you might enjoy it because it's on par with the pyramids. They are good solid workouts and the premixes offer a lot of flexibility giving you upper, lower or total body options.
