Look what my husband made me!

WOW! Thanks for posting the picture. My husband is a "jack of all trades" and can probably do the same thing for me. I've been looking for a dumbell rack, but they are so expensive, so my weights are lined up against my wall (I have 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,12,15,20) so there are a lot. This is great -- thanks so much!!

Wow, that is waaaay cool. My rack doesn't hold weights but my other misc stuff, like bands and balls, go figure. I put my weights (still) on the floor! That is a really nice rack and happy birthday!
 
My SO made one for me years ago out of scarp trim boards. I'm not sure where I will put more weights since I will need them for STS. And my SO is complaining about this as I write - you gotta love him!!!

Up until now, i've always had my weights lined up against the wall, but that can be really hard on your back. It was so much easier getting things out and putting away this morning during my workout!
 
Wow! Katie, that looks great! Does he do welding for a living? It looks like he could go into business . . . .

Nope, he's an automotive tech, so welding isn't far off... He actually just won a Snap On welder (worth a couple thousand bucks) and has been itching for a project to try it out. He built some speaker stands for a friend, and now this for me. I'm trying to convince him to weld me a squat rack next;)

Oh man, I hadn't even thought about a squat rack! That's a good one! My husband loves to weld and it looks like his list just got a bit longer.
 
Haha, you ladies are too funny!! He actually just joined The Cathe Nation so that he could use the WM for his 1RM (we are doing STS together) so he has been lurking in this thread to see what people have to say. His head has swelled so much it;s not even funny!

But seriously, thanks so much for all the compliments, I am very proud of my weight rack AND my husband!;)
