Hey Randi! I hope your son is going better. I know life gets busy and hectic. I have one more week...supersets. After that I don't know if I will do it for another 4 or move on. This will be the first time I have completed a rotation from beginning to end. The checking in has been great and the flexibility has helped a lot. Here is my plan for this week(subject to tweaking of course):
Monday: SB WU, sections 1 & 2/Imax Intervals 1-5
Tuesday: SJ&P
Wednesday: SB Secion 3 & challenge/Imax Intervals 6-10
Thursday: PP Total Body 2 Sets premix
Friday: KP&C
Saturday: SS Total Body 2 Sets Premix
Sunday: Rest
I'm glad Body for Life is working for you. I've read on this forum about not doing "diets" and listening to your body, but if I listened to my body I would eat too many M&M's! I think everyone has to find their own "thing" and Weight Watchers seems to be my "thing." Plus, I know this program and am very familiar and comfortable with it. I will weigh this Friday or I may wait unitil a week from Friday and weigh every two weeks. I want to drop 10 that I gained back but I don't want to obsess either. I want my focus to be health. Well this is way too long. Talk with you later!

Good Morning girls.....how are you?? I am starting my Tank Top Arms Rotation today, and I will be doing the PS series, all of the UB segments. I just did the PP Premix of UB Friday, so this week, I will do PS. My eating is still staying on track although on my first week of the Discovery Body Health Challenge, I lost nothing. I did take measurements, and I did lose 1 1/2" between my chest, hips, and bust. It says I also lost 3% bodyfat. I hate taking measurements. It is not like a scale that looks you in the face with a number. I always second guess myself, "Did I pull the tape this tight before, did I measure in this exact same spot??" Oh well, I think I did. Hope everyone has a good day!!!! And congrats Angela on almost completing a rotation!!! If I make it thru 3 weeks of this, I will be satisfied. But, I like it, and between all 3 series, and I can really rotate things. See You Guys!!!!!
Lori

Good for you Lori! The scale is not always the best way to measure success. I got a good cardio workout in today. Have a great week!

Hi! Today was a scheduled rest day for me and I took it, lol. I did laundry and spent the day inside with the kids. Tomorrow is the beginning of high reps week for me and I'll be doing back, triceps and shoulders (CTX and PH) and 40 min. cardio, probably a KPC premix. Here's my plan for the week:

Mon: Rest day
Tue: Back, triceps, shoulders and 40 min. cardio - KPC premix
Wed: Legs & Glutes and C&W step only premix
Thu: Chest, biceps, abs and IMAX2 6-10 premix
Fri: Leaner Legs plus ball work from PLB and 35 min. SB premix
Sat: Back, triceps, shoulders and stretching
Sun: Chest, biceps, abs and 35 min. KPC premix

I haven't taken my measurements yet. I really should have done that before I started this rotation...I know that for me, if my eating is on track and my workouts are consistent, I'll get results eventually. It takes some time for my body to respond though. I'll take measurements today or tomorrow.

Have a great night! Talk to you tomorrow.

Randi

Okay, looks like I'm replying to myself here :). I was all set to work out this morning but got derailed by the little one. Anyway, I'll have to rework my week. Here is my revised plan for the week:

Mon: Rest
Tue: Unscheduled rest day
Wed: CTX upper and 1st KPC premix
Thu: L&G and C&W step only premix
Fri: Back, triceps and shoulders and IMAX2 6-10 premix
Sat: LL, PLB ball work and SB premix
Sun: Chest, biceps, abs and KPC premix

There it is. If he wakes up again during my workout I'm going to have to be strong and let dh deal with it!

Later,

Randi

Good Morning girls. yesterday I ended up doing SuperSets UB Blast, and my Firm Cardio Scult Blaster. I do like to mix my Firms in, they seem to create a nice balance. Today I did Firm BBS LB, and then Cathe's Legs and Glutes. My buns are sore!!! Topmorrow I am going to do TimeSaver #4 cardio, and sh, bi's, and tri's from the TimeSaver DVD. Glad everyone is doing well. Enjoy your rest day Randi!!!!
Lori

Hey guys! I am all set to do SJ&P in a few minutes. I am planning on adding in the ankle work from L&G....love it....love it! I can feel areas getting tighter...tee hee...just can't see it yet! Glad you two are doing well. Until tomorrow!
Angela:7

Good morning!

Angela, I love the ankle-weight work from L&G! I'm doing that workout tomorrow, as a matter of fact, together with the C&W step premix, but I may do a CTX cardio instead. I keep forgetting about those. Lori, I don't have any of the newer Firms. As a matter of fact, I only have three or four of the older ones - I'll have to take a look in my cabinet. I really like Vol. 1 and LBS.

Anyway, this morning I did the first KPC premix and then did the ME upper body premix, including abs. I didn't have time for the entire CTX upper body split (1 hour) but I'd forgotten how thorough ME is! My upper body was FRIED. Love that feeling :). And I even had time to do abs!

Have a great day!

Hi Randi & Lori,
I have done really well on Weight Watchers this week. The flex points help a lot. A friend loaned me the Start it Up CD and WW gives an example of what they call low, moderate, and high intensity workouts....I don't think I have even been giving myself enough activity points. Cathe's "easiest" workouts are more intense then what they demonstrated as high intensity exercise. I'm not knocking it at all...I just think I could even eat a little more if I get hungry.

I did Rythmic Step tonight. The sinues and my energy level said no intervals or high itensity tonight. I go through bouts of insomnia and have not gotten much sleep the last couple of nights. Every now and then I get in the "mood" for RS and I thought I wanted to do it tonight but I liked it so so tonight. Other times I hate it and have to quit and do something else. It is just not one of my favorite workouts for some reason. I think it's the music or something...too much of the same thing? I keep giving it another try though. Tomorrow is PP Total Body 2 Sets Premix....that I look forward too!

I have 5 hours of reevalutation meetings scheduled for tomorrow...yuck!
Talk with you later!

I've thought about joining WW in the past - meetings are held in the building where I work - but I'm just not sure how good I'd be at keeping track of my points. BFL eating is easy for me b/c all I have to do is make sure I have a serving of protein, carbs and veggies, and water of course, at each meal. How easy is it to keep track of points?

Anyway, this morning went pretty well. I did the step and hi/lo circuit from SJ&P - 35 min. worth, anyway and then moved on to L&G. I made it to the outer thigh/glute sweeps before I was reminded of the time and had to stop! I'll tack on the rest of the floorwork to my workout tomorrow. Tomorrow's plan is back, triceps and shoulders and my interval w/o for the week, IMAX2 6-10.

Hope your meetings go well today, Angela. Where's Lori?

ttyl,

Randi

I'm right here!!!! Today is a cardio day, and I am going to do KPC. I really love this tape. Eating has been going well, everything is going great. Hope everyone has a great day.

Angela- I have to tell you, my knees are finally starting to feel better after all those circuits that first week. I told my husband the other day, I HAVE to go to Home Depot and get some floor mats!!!! Maybe this weekend.

BYE!!!:)
Lori

Hi Lori! I'm so glad everything is going so well! I love KPC too. I've only done it in its entirety once but I love splitting it up and/or doing it with LG.

Yep, told my dh that if he expects me to move my workouts down to the basement the flooring has to be put down first. Let me know what kind of mats you choose!

Have a good one,

Randi

Lori, glad your knees are finally better! Get that flooring..whew! Randi, when I first joined WW last year it took me a while to get used to journaling and figuring out points. Now I can guestimate points pretty closely and it does not take long b/c I have my favorite meals/foods saved on the WW site along with the points. If BFL works for you keep at it! I think it is all about finding what works for you and what you can stick with. Today I did PP Total Body 2 sets premix. I'm not sure about this workout. It is different. I think I like it. Tomorrow I am scheduled to do KPC. I am coming down with a cold so I will have to see how I feel.

Have a good evening!
Angela:7
P.S. Long day of meetings, but they went well. Thanks for asking!

You too? I feel like I'm coming down with something as well. I was all set to get up this morning to workout but I was just sooo tired, even though I'd been able to sleep a little later. And my throat is sore. I'll have to see how the weekend goes - whether I'll feel up to making up for my lost day by doing a little more cardio or if I'll need to take it easy.

I hope you're feeling better and that you're not coming down with anything. After dealing with two sick kids last weekend I thought for sure I wasn't going to catch it!

I think I like PP too and SS is growing on me. I'm looking forward to Supersets next week b/c I'm doing the PS series. I like being able to go heavy.

Talk to you tomorrow and hope we both feel better!

Randi

Hi Randi and Lori,
I plan on doing a cardio today...probably KPC. I might do Imax 2 instead....just can't quite decide what I'm in the mood for. I just have a head cold. It is mostly the ol' nose.

The thing about PP is I'm not sore today at all after doing the two sets premix. I matched Cathe's weights on everything and even went over on some. I usually have to build up to Cathe's weight or build up to going above her weight on any new workout or even on a workout I haven't done in a while. Now, during the workout I got fatigued...but not as fatigued as usual. The tricep kickbacks with 8's were difficult after the dips, but I am not sore today. The inverted shoulder press I could only safely do 9 reps of. The second set I did the modification. I will be curious to see how I feel after SS tomorrow. I guess I have blabbed enough now...tee hee. Talk with you later and stay well!
Angela:7

I did the SS Two Sets Premix and I LOVED it! I like the music, the pace, the exercises, especially the seesaw tricep push ups using the stability ball. I also felt like I really had good form on the bike maneuver for the core. I didn't realize that in other workouts I am fatigued and was not using proper form on these. I really felt them but was able to complete the set because my abs/core was not worn out and I really kept good form. I will be doing this premix at least once a week for a while I believe. The only exercise I don't like is the side oblique crunches using the stability ball. I don't feel them at all so I do the oblique crunch move from Cardio & Weights.

Are you guys interested in keeping this check in going? I will be coming up with another rotation for myself for the next 3 to 4 weeks and not doing the Look Great in 8 anymore. I can keep checking in here or go to another check in. Just let me know what you want to do! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!:7

I kinda like our check in, if you guys do??? I took a rest day yesterday, and today I did some Firms. I probably will tromorrow too, and then I am going to do the TimeSavers next week, plus add in one additional leg workout, and UB workout. Hope everyone is having a good weekend.
Lori

Hi Lori! I still don't know what I will be doing next week. I really like our little check in too. We should rename it though since we're all doing something different. Any suggestions to what we should call our check in? My weekend has been nice and relaxing, but I'm still fighting a little head cold. It is all my in my nose. I bought some breath easy nose strips to try tonight as it gets worse when I'm laying down.
Have a good night!
Angela
