I hope your new rotation is going well. Randi, if you want to keep checking in I'm here.
Today I did KP&C and PH upper body only. Tomorrow is a rest day due to meetings, meetings, meetings. I get to work at 7:15 and I won't get home until after 8. I start high rep/endurance week this week. Here is my game plan:
M: Rest
T: Imax 2/ME Upper body premix minus WU & Sretch/BC Upper body premix only/BC Core only/BC Stretch
W: CTX Power Circuit WU & cardio & leg circuits only/L&G minus WU
TH: SJ&P/SB Step & Hi/Lo Cardio Circuit/ME abs & C&W abs
F: SJ&P Step only minus stretch/SB Challenge only/ME Upper body premix minus WU & Sretch/BC Upper body premix only/BC Core only/BC Stretch
S: BC cardio & lower body only premix/Timesaver Day 5 Lower Body minus WU
Sun: Rest

Yes, I want to keep checking in here! My internet was down over the weekend so I wasn't able to check in on Saturday and Sunday. Is Lori still checking in with us or has she moved to another check-in? I had a good weekend workout-wise - Cardio & Weights on Saturday and IMAX 2 (1-5 premix) and Supersets yesterday. Today was a scheduled rest day for this week - I wasn't going to take it - but a fussy baby this morning made me take it anyway, lol. Here's what I have planned for the week (it's heavy week for me):

M: Rest day
T: S&H Shoulders + 30 min. cardio, probably KPC or a CTX cardio
W: Legs & Glutes + BC abs and flexibility training
Th: S&H Chest and Back
F: S&H Biceps + SJP step only and L&G ankle/floor work
S: S&H Triceps + IMAX2 6-10 premix
Su: 45 min. cardio - KPC, plus PLB ball work

Hope your "rest" day isn't too stressful! And thanks for what you wrote on the other thread :). I have two children actually, a 5 y.o. daughter and my 1 y.o. son, and they are just too precious. I'm really enjoying being a mom.

Hi Guys!!!! I did the premix of 2 sets of Super Sets on sat. Yesterday, I did nothing, I worked all day. Today, I don't know, I have such a headcahe.....Lori
 
Hi Lori! Glad you're still checking in here! Take it easy if you have a headache. When I have had a headache and tried to work out it just made it worse. Hope you feel better soon.

Hey guys! It is my rest day and I am pooped out! I hope to be going to bed somewhat early tonight if I can fall asleep. Until tomorrow....glad you guys are still here!:7
 
Enjoy your rest day, Angela! I know what you mean about being able to actually fall asleep even though you're tired...

Anyway, I did the add-on premix of SB today, 25 min. worth anyway. I bought new crosstrainers yesterday and they hurt my feet so much this morning that I had to change into my old shoes to finish the workout. Needless to say, they are going back to the store. I should just stick with what I have and look for another pair of those.
After the cardio I did S&H shoulders but had to skip the rotator cuff exercise at the end. Ran out of time, maybe tonight.

Have a great day! I'm pretty sure legs and abs are on my schedule for tomorrow.

Hey Randi,
I hate having to break in new workout shoes. I just bought new inserts hoping I can make mine last a little bit longer. I just finished doing Imax 2 Intervals 1-5/ME Upper Body split minus WU, abs, & stretch/BC Upper Body only/BC Core only/BC Stretch. It was very challenging doing both ME & BC Upper body but I made it through! Now I'm off to fix dinner for me and hubby. I don't own the S&H series or the Pure Strength series. I would eventually like to get both. Are you able to go a lot heavier with the Slow & Heavy series then with the Pyramids or MIS? Have a great evening!

Good Morning guys.....I have not worked out at all. My head has been hurting me so bad. I am going to try the chiropractor again today. I went to the dr. yesterday and got some relief, but it is back again today. The dr. gave me a shot of Immitrex, and some other stuff that is stronger than Motrin. I went to the chiropractor on Monday also. This is starting to bug me.....Lori

Lori, I'm so sorry you're still dealing with your headache. I hope that your doctors are able to figure out what's going on. My husband gets migraines from time to time and he has an awful time dealing with it.

Angela, I'm going to have to go shoe shopping this weekend. I have a particular pair of New Balance cross trainers in mind, if they aren't comfortable, I'm definitely going to get another pair of the shoes I have now. What kind of workout shoes are you using right now?

I did L&G this morning but wasn't able to tack on the BC core premix. Cathe is such a great instructor. I'm going to work in L&G once a week from here on out. Tomorrow is chest and back and I should def. be able to do the extra ab work then.

I am able to go heavier on certain exercises with S&H, not all - some exercises force me to go down to 3's! OTOH, I get the best strength gains from this series. The PS series is also awesome for strength IMO.

Hey Lori & Randi! Lori, I am very sorry to hear of your ongoing headache. Do you know what the cause is or is this something you deal with on a regular basis? Do you think you are eating enough? I sure hope you are well soon!

Randi, I have New Balance also but I am not wild about them. I have yet to find a shoe that I love. I just finished working out. I did CTX Power Circuit WU, cardio, & circuits only then L&G minus the WU. I took 3 or 4 rests during L&G. Those who don't find L&G as challenging as some of Cathe's older workouts should try it after Power Circuit! I really enjoy the different pace and exercises in L&G. Tomorrow I am doing one of my favorite cardio premixes...the step & Hi/lo premix from SJ&P & SB. I will also add on abs. Until tomorrow!

Well, I feel tons better after the chiropractor yesterday. He cracked my neck, and I saw stars. I also started my period, so maybe that was included in there too. I actually worked out yesterday!!!! I felt so much better after I came home I did Firm's CAWT, and Cardio Sculpt Blaster. I was afraid to jump right into Cathe, so I did some Easier workouts. Today I am going to do the Leg workout on Timesaver #5, and some KPC cardio. Monday I am going to start a Tank Top Arms rotation. Somebody posted one in the rotations forum and it has the PS Series, the Intensity Series, and the BB Series. It has 3 different rotations each with a different series. I think maybe I can do this for awhile and not become bored. talk to you soon.

Glad you are feeling better Lori! Today I did SJ&P/SB Step & Hi/Lo circuit and abs. I don't really know what rotation I will move onto after this one. I look forward to next week b/c I will do SS & PP...I will try the two sets total body premixes. Have a good one!

Tomorrow is biceps, SJ&P step (and maybe hi/lo, depends on how much time I have) and L&G ankle and floor work. I'm thinking about maybe doing one of the KP&C/L&G premixes instead of SJ&P but I'll just have to see what kind of mood I'm in tomorrow :). I'm not sure if I'm going to continue this rotation for the entire 8 weeks, but it's so versatile that I think it could work so many different ways. I'll have to see I guess.

I had a great workout today...I did SJ&P step only premix minus stretch/SB Challenge only(I went ahead and did the stretch)/CTX Upper Body Split/SJP abs&stretch(no plank work-my poor arms could not have held me up).

I have not done CTX Upper Body split in a while. It is a really good workout for the ol' arms.

I have decided to follow Weight Watchers on line again to get 10 pounds off and to keep it off. I've tried to maintain on my own, but I need the structure of a program and this is the only thing that has worked for me. I do well when I follow it strictly during the week and cheat on the weekend only. Also, it helps me get back on track quickly so that one cheat meal or cheat day does not turn into days, then weeks, than months, then a dad gum 10 pound weight gain...boo hoo!:-(
I'm in that "I've had it" frame of mind and now I'm ready to do something about it so here goes!:7

Edited to add: Lori, how are your headaches? Are you still feeling well?
Randi, I think I will finish this rotation up next week and then move on to something else. That's why I only committed to 4 weeks! I may not look great in 4 but I feel great in 4!
 
Hey! Where did you guys go? I got my workout in before church this morning. I did BC cardio & lower body premix only/Timesaver Day 5. My heart rate stayed right up there with BC! Today was my last day for high rep. Tomorrow starts Supersets week!

Hi Angela! I'm here. I've had a busy weekend - my son has a cold and kept me up all night Thursday and Friday. Friday was an unscheduled rest day - I had the energy to workout later in the day but he was too fussy to nap. Anyway, I made up for what I missed Sat. and Sun. - Sat. I did IMAX2 and S&H biceps, and today I did Step Blast and S&H triceps. This week coming up is my high reps week so I'll be combining CTX, Power Hour and Legs and Glutes.

I'm feeling really good so far, S&H always makes me more tired than usual and hungrier, so I've been trying to get more protein in during the day to offset cravings in the evenings. The Body for Life eating plan works really well for me so that's what I've been doing. I've lost a few pounds already.

Sorry I didn't check in earlier! It's been difficult getting a minute to log on since Nicholas seems to have been attached to my leg all the time lately :). That or my dh or daughter is using the computer! BTW, after this week will you still be checking in or moving on to another check in entirely?
