Hi
Did anyone see Cathe Monday night @7 on FITTV. She did Lo Max. It was a Welcome to Spring Show. Before the commericals she would appear with words of encouragement. BTY, she looks beautiful. Of course I didn't exercise with her. I watched from the comfort of my sofa.

I tivo'd it and used it last night! Of course, it was totally chopped up - some step intervals without blasts, some blasts without intervals, etc...but it was a way for me to get a feel for it before deciding to buy (she's so smart, isn't she???:)

My question is this - some of the blasts didn't feel all that tough and a couple of them did. The harder ones for me were the first one (at least on fittv's version) and (I think) blast 5. How do they compare with most of the others? In your opinion, are there more difficult blasts than not in this workout?

Looking forward to your replies - I know this workout seems like a fav of some of you!

Hi, I thought one of the blasts was kind of easy but the rest were good. You need to remember to go very (underscore very) low and stay low for the the best results otherwise you won't get anything out of the blast work as most of it relies on extreme low end work.

I watched yesterday morning and viewed the workout for the very first time. I liked it and look forward to the commercials when I am actually working out especially when doing KPC or Boot Camp....I always need a few more breathes of air. LOL! The workout looked like a fun one to do. Hope I can do it when my short squared stepper that I just bought.

I have LoMax and watched it last night to see how they modified it. They left out alot of the intense blasts IMO. Your legs are fried by the end of this one. I mean, it is over 70 minutes long and most of that is stepping!
The TV version is a nice taste, but you really need to get the DVD, it is well worth it and I feel one of Cathe's best Hardcores!

I agree, Conni! I did my Low Max DVD from 6pm - 7pm, then watched it on FITtv at 7pm because I was curious to see how much was chopped out. It's missing quite a few intense blasts.

I'm not positive, but I think they completely cut the 3rd and 4th intervals (both the step routines and blasts).

The blasts in Lowmax are KILLER. Some are a bit easier, but it's also a cumulative effect. By the time you get to the end, your legs are screaming, but as someone else said, you have to go LOW....

There's one with dynamic outer thighs followed by low sculpt 15's and I'm really surprised my quads haven't just upped and left by the end of those.
