Good morning, cheetahs!
Wendi—crankin’ up that espresso machine sounds like a good plan for plowing through a busy day. Hope you got done everything you wanted to.
Wendy—What is it again that the doc said you have? I missed that…No, I will be passing on World Tour. The kids say it’s like Rock Band. And hey, give yourself more credit, girl. No LDs necessary.
Christine—thank you for updating & handling the card list this year! I don't need to PM you that I am in, do I? Darn on another flat. Forgive my biking ignorance, but how come that happens indoors? How long do you think it’ll take to get caught up on those accounts?
Carole—I can see why 18 is “big.” Not to keep repeating, but I did feel like that was the turning point for me in training. The whole training process and marathon experience just fascinates me!...Re: the urge to slap—believe me, I understand! I think we all have someone in the family tree like that. Some of us are blessed with more than one. Serenity now!
Linda—No major trips planned for this year, but there will likely be a few smaller ones in ’09. Cold, dark, and windy would be a combo that would otherwise turn me off—but the snow? Snow makes me so happy, I would feel giddy running around in it. Glad you enjoyed your rest day.
Shelly—Oh yeah, that wind was a bit much. When those harsh elements are in combination like that? Fuggeddit! *LOL* Wow, it’s going to be quite frigorific for your marathon! Brrr. Good reason to go gear shopping. J Thanks, I had a great Monday. Know I’m a freak of nature, but most of the time, I enjoy them. J Well, now, anyway. I used to be caught in a more negative cycle of thinking. Hope you had a good one, too.
Gloria—I always hear the same—that 7th grade is “the worst,” but I don’t know, I liked teaching that grade, too. However, I think I do like 8th grade the best. Things at school are going well—no let-up in the pace but it’s been a good year. I can’t complain. Now that I am a TL, though, I am dealing with the people that do. Wish I could just mute those people and get on with my day. Makes me sure admin would never be for me. Thanksgiving at DH’s dad’s cabin sounds fun.
Brighton—glad things are still going strong and the foot is cooperating.
Judy—welcome back. Great job fitting in some runs into your vaca. Did you run on the beach?
Dallas—ooh, the book fair—have fun! Sounds like a busy day overall.
Jackie—things must be busy at work for you. Hope you had a good Monday.
Guess my brain is all over the place these days as I have been forgetting to post workouts. Later Sunday I did my own yoga routine + another round of BM2 u/b. Don't know why, just felt like it. Yesterday was a rest day. Tonight yoga is on the schedule, but I might jumble things up. Will see.
Have a great one!
