LL Bean versus Lands End

Over the years - with kids - I have become a die-hard Lands End fan. A couple weeks ago the zipper fell off my daughter's LE coat from last year. I called and they send me a replacement coat w/in 3 days. I have yet to be disappointed in them. But I really can't say I've had any experience w/ LL Bean. I mostly prefer LE styles.
 
I like both and think they are basically equivalent in quality, customer service, and pricing. But I find myself buying way more from Land's End for both of my daughters (5 and 7).
 
Lands End, especially now that they've revamped some of their clothing, giving it a more modern style.
 
I like both, but buy from Lands End much more because I seem to get better discounts with LE. They both have great quality and customer service. Except for some lamps I bought from LE years ago - made in China and junky.

I like them both. I buy my DH's shirts and jackets from Land's End but his pants generally come from LLBean. My Dad, who was a garmento, worked with both companies and said their quality is the best in the industry.
 
I like them both as well! It depends on what you're buying.

My DH has been wearing his "Bean Boots" to work in for 20+ years. (Not the same pair... LOL!) Lands End has some good clothing and outerwear.
 
I've never bought LE but I love LL Bean. Their products have a lifetime guarantee and if at anytime you are not satisfied, even twenty years later they will take the product back and give you something else.
 
I like both but I purchase more from LE. I really like that you can return LE items to Sears instead of having to pay return shipping. My long down coat is from there and it is fantastic.
 
I once *accidently* sent my Eddie Bauer sweater in a box with a LLBEAN return. :eek: Customer Service called me & returned it to me....and they paid shipping fees. LLBean earned a customer for life with that act of kindness!!

BTW, Eddie Bauer also has unsurpassed customer service!
 
Okay thanks everyone. I've never bought anything from LL Bean but I know Beaves has reccomended their stuff. I guess either way I can't go wrong. I need to buy 3 good quality water proof jackets ASAP for my husband and 2 kids. It is pooring buckets here in California, . .our creek is so deep I could swim in it. I bought mine from Lands End and I love it but I thought I'd give LL Bean a try.
