Hi all,
I stumbled on this link last night and although I'd have to modify most of the recipes, being vegan, I thought that there were some great ideas here for smaller 50/30/20 balanced meals throughout the day. And I know that many of use aim for this kind of eating pattern. I thought it might be helpful for eating ideas, especially if you are feeling in a rut lately =-) Each recipe has about 300 calories and the nutrional breakdown is right there.

Thanks, Mattea -
Odd that you should post this just now, since I've been really thinking about fat intake and calories. Another vegan! I'm seriously contemplating it (am ovo-lacto veggie right now), so it's comforting to find people of like mind.

Shannon,
I love what being a vegan has done for my health and sense of well-being, but mostly I love the challenge it presents in terms of finding substitutions and getting me to try food I never have before. Give it a try for a little while a day, a week, what ever and just see how you feel, what you miss, etc. This will help you knowing what the best choice is for you right now.
Just to be clear, a lot of the recipes in the link are not vegan, and some are not vegetarian, but almost all are very modification friendly and as such, great inspiration!

Thanks, Mattea.
I've been PM-ing Kathryn a lot, and she's incredibly helpful. I've also decided to order "Eat to Live" after following Carole's threads here. I can't wait for it to come in!

Thanks for this link Mattea. There are tons of great ideas that will hopefully get me out of my rut!!

Thanks for the link!! Another vegan here!! Sometimes it is challenging, but I enjoy the benefits!! I have been trying to follow the Eat to Live plan....it is a little difficult, but I think I have done well so far! I have added veggie burgers in though!;-)

I know what you mean, new ideas for eating are always welcome:9 Somedays feel like an "Imax eating day" One of the best things about this link is that it is broken down into a week by week eating schedule (times, meals, days, etc.), then all the recipes follow, w/ the nutritional break-down (it is written for 1400 cal/day). And it's not just a any kind of calorie plan, but one that focuses around "clean" (and sometimes "whole foods") meals.
With spring on its way I needed some new ways to put together some foods just to shake it up a bit =-) Had an AWESOME mango this morning, MMMMM....:D
