Lifting Hooks

I would like to order a pair of lifting hooks but am having a hard time deciding which pair to get with all the different styles.

Can someone recommend a comfortable brand that you have tried. Ones that don’t dig into the wrists and also hold the dumbbell securely without sliding around. They also have to adjust to fit properly on small wrists. TIA

I bought an Altus 2-hook pair from Amazon that I've been using and that I like. I have very small wrists, and these adjust to fit.

I agree w/Kathryn. I too have very small wrists and the Altus two hook pair work fine. I ordered mine directly from Altus.

After an extremely hard Disc 2 morning, my forearms and finger muscles are fried!!!
So I bought a pair of padded lifting hooks (similar to the Altus ones) but the padding goes down to the hook and actually the hook faces your palm so you wrap your fingers opposite to the direction of the hook (if I can describe it properly). The guy at the store told me that this is a safer option than having the hook follow the curve of your fingers. Also, it's more effective because you can use your grip strength as long as you feel comfortable, and when the pain sets in you can loosen up your fingers and let the hook hold the weight.

Here's a pic:

I bought the spri ones from Amazon as the altus was out of stock. I haven't used them yet and not sure if I will. I don't know really how to use them to make them comfortable. I wrap the wrist and the hook seems to sit in an awkward position.

Maybe if I tried to lift a weight it would feel better. I may try them but don't know how comfortable they will be.

Where are the hooks suppose to be sitting?

Thanks
Rhonda
