Okay so I know we all have a favorite jean or pant and I was curious what you guys wear and how much will you pay for a good pant. This is just meant to be fun. I personally find it interesting all the pants out there and all the prices. What makes them worth the price?
I, within the past year, have gotten out to the malls and seen what is out. I shop at the name brand re-sale shops (Suprise). I am in love with the two in my area Platos Closet and Off the Rack. You would not believe the prices I have paid for expensive jeans for around 25 bucks. Best part is they all are new with tags still attached. Can you believe it.
Now in saying that I just fell in love with a pair of soft comfy pants from the Gap ($54)and Hollister ($36). My biggest investment ever was this past weekend from The Buckle. I got a pair of BKE ($98). OH MY! Let me tell you for the first time ever I did not have to buy a belt, usually when I find a jean it fits everywhere but the waist and I am sick of wearing belts so my mission was to find a wardrobe of pants not needing belts and I found them.
I have my eye of MKE's but they are $135.00 I do have a $10.00 off coupon and they were an additional $10.00 off for their sale of the day, however, I refrained from trying them on and left the store but I really am curious what makes these jeans so expensive and isn't denim just denim am I missing something here?
I LOVE LOVE LOVE fashion and am hoping to get into the field when my kids are older. I just wish they would think of us who want to have nice things but want to pay realistic prices does that make sense? I think I just was in Dillards looking at jeans and prices and there was a pair near $200.00 or more even can not even remember the name I glanced at because I just could not believe it.
Look forward to hearing your responses. I personally stated that this was for fun and I think we can all respect the different financial situations each are in so lets not knock who pays what OK?
I am happy that they have re-sale shops for namebrand clothes I am not to proud to admit it. I have even found stuff at Goodwill and Salvation Army so I live at both ends of the spectrum. Oh and lets not forget about Ebay!
