Hello STS Warrior Princesses
I just finished disc 22. I am having trouble with motor function at the moment! Just in case you're missing push-ups,
they're back! Mild, though they are, I did go to failure well before Cathe!
The name of the game on this disc is drop-sets. This week my shoulders are more fried than chest. However when I was doing the chest presses I kept getting up and checking the weight on the barbell - I could've sworn I put more weight on the left side than the right! Not so. I must be noticeably weaker on the left. That is one advantage to dumbbells; you work the muscles more independently.
Oh - and so much for me stating I won't mis-gauge my rack again, I almost dropped the bar twice!
This is my last week of Meso 2. Since I am a month behind with legs and getting a lot of rest in between the upper body workouts, I am considering pressing onwards, and not taking a Meso 2 rest week.
Cathy - I'm only benching 6 pounds more with my rack - YOU ROCK!
MJ - how are your leg DOMS doing?
Sassy - my eleven year old put my tower together for me. How old are your kids?
Heather - sorry your kids are still sick. But, hey, what's that saying, "Misery loves company." So, at least they have each other! And better they are sick at the same time than dragging it out over a few weeks.
It's 100 Acre Woods Blustery today, crisp fall air, bright orange and yellow trees, broody skyline - it is quite beautiful in a change of pace kind of way.
Tomorrow the dishwasher repair guy is suppose to come finish the repair, unfortunately I have not received the vital part yet. (oh, yes, Cathy, he is a cutie pie...I only know this because this will be his third visit! I usually get the tooth-less wonders, with saggy pants and well - you -know- that repairman belly bulge on one side and an enormous showing of flesh on the other side.) But I digress, while I loiter around waiting for his arrival I think I'll do B&G, this time the whole thing.
Alright - now I need to fuel and do something productive.
