Let's discuss about Bra --- Padded bra!!??

Hi Everyone,

I am having a moaning moment about padded bra.

IMHO making padded bra for cup over DD just does not make sense!
I bought on three occasions a padded bra and was so disappointed. They just accomodate my boobs in such un-flattering way!:mad::mad:

I have just returned one set. The material and colours were very feminine but the cut and the pad added was not right!

I would like to know what you ladies think about adding pad for cups over DD. Do you think it's necessary?

I think these bra manufacturers need to understand women in more depth. We want comfortable and feminine bra, nicely cut bra to have a * plunged and projected* chest. These pad are just Not helping in creating the nice plunged and projected cleavage. They flatten and keep the boobs apart in such horribly un-flattering way:mad:

Grrr

Hi

I am also a double D, and I have one red padded bra from Victoria's secret, and it is flattering. The rest of my bras are not padded. I am also only 5'1" and, in jeans or pants, I wear a size 1. I am top heavy, and the heavy breasts hurt my back, but I work out anyway.

Nathalie, I'm a B and I don't even like the padded bras! They make me look unnatural and heavier - I am striving for that slender look ;). I have a short torso, being only 5' tall, maybe that's my problem. I have some that have a little padding, and that's ok.

IMO my most flattering bra is an unpadded racer-back. Because it is a racer-back, the strap position naturally and lightly accentuates the cleavage. I'd buy more of those bras except the straps show if I'm not wearing a racer-back tank as my first layer.

Good luck Nathalie! Personally, I find bra shopping difficult - too much padding out there.

I am a D and I prefer my bras very lightly, thinly padded to cover the "headlight" issue. It is probably only 1/16 of an inch at the most. But it does the job. I do not care for heavily padded bras or push-up bras though. I just don't need it!

Highlight issue lol

Lol Tralaiven,

I have had a laugh reading above highlighted issue lol...

I agree with bzbnmom---There is just too much of padded out there. Even in Europe!

I like my bra to comfortably seat on my ribcage with a nice plunge cut. I am well above DD and feel no need for any extra pad.
