Let it snow???

Cathe, digging out from about 2.5 feet of snow from yesterday! Did you get as hard? I'm in Elverson which is right outside of Reading, PA. We have about 4 feet total from yesterday and Saturday...Shoveling counts as a workout, right:)

Hi GettingFitMom,

I am not Cathe of course but I do live near/am a member of her gym. I have read that we had about 45 inches of snow here. I hope you all managed to get through all of the snow in the last week. I know it has been taking me about 2 hours to get home from work in Phila. thanks to the bad roads.

I was glad to have received Shock Cardio last week. I did two workouts a day when I could not get to the gym. The snow shoveling was extra!

I think we have to get ready for another round on Monday and Tuesday. Happy shoveling!

Interesting, Chris! There may have been other gym members on the forum before, but I've not known of any. Do you take many classes with Cathe or do you use the gym for weight work? What came first for you -- Four Seasons or taped Cathe workouts?

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I'm curious

Hi Nancy,

Four Seasons was first, oddly enough. When I joined the gym I would be there very early in the morning and missed many of the classes. I found Cathe’s workouts through Weight Watchers members online. Since then, I have purchased many of the DVD’s.

I now go to the gym mostly for weights and the fantastic spin classes that have taken me out of my “comfort zone”. Unfortunately, most of Cathe’s classes are mid-morning while I am at work. I am very fortunate to have both her workouts and her gym, providing me with a wide array of fitness activities.

I have to thank you too Nancy, for I was struggling with forearm weakness in Meso 3 during my first round of STS about 8 months ago. I caught your thread about the Altus weight lifting hooks and they got me through it – so thanks! I am about to start another round of STS and I know they will help me again.

Thanks for asking!

Chris

Chris, isn't it great how we can all help each other with different things -- and sometimes not even realize that we're doing it! I am using the hooks now for my second round of STS and they are making a huge difference for me, too. Thanks for sharing your Four Seasons/Cathe story. :D
