Leslie Sansone is not just for beginners.....

I have some of her tapes to give to folks as a jump start, and have some extras, along with her Walk-Away belt. I decided to try one (actually two) myself yesterday since I've been exhausted even after taking a week off from exercise. I wanted to do SOMETHING, but knew I should not attempt Gauntlet like I really wanted to do. I wanted to walk outside, but it was cold and raining.

I combined Leslie's Walk and Jog, and and 2nd and 3rd miles of the
1-2-3 Super Fat Burner tapes (using the belt), and got a really good workout! It was very simple, and I modified some stuff to make it more intense. The whole thing was 50 minutes, and I really sweated.

I will keep these alongside my Charlene tapes when I need to do something, but not go all out.

Just Do It! :)
 
This sounds so interesting. I've never even thought about Leslie Sansone. Please tell me a little more about the Walk and Jog. Which of her tapes would you say is the most challenging?

Walk and Jog is simply walking with some jogging intervals thrown in - two minutes at a time.

1-2-3 Super Fat Burner is challenging, if you start with mile 2, and use the walk-away belt.

She has a 4 mile power walk tape that would be a good one, I'm sure, but I don't have that one.
 
OH! Walk and Jog rocks!!!! I love that one!! She really does have some great tapes. Sure, they can be easy, BUT......you can easily modify to make them more intense. Just like you'd modify a Cathe tape to make it less intense (don't jump, stay grounded), you can modify Leslie's tapes (bigger moves, add some jumping and jogging in place). It's great for a low-impact day!!!! :7

You do it in front of your TV without a treadmill. She uses a belt for resistance, and in her new set, uses "stretchies," which is just a dynaband.

These tapes are great for a day when you want to work out, but not do something with a lot of impact. I did the same two tapes today, and was amazed at how much I sweated.
