Least complex choreography question

Hi,

Do you all have some suggestions for the least complex choreography dvds? While I enjoy Cathe's advanced workouts, the more difficult footwork (especially step)is tough for me. I want to get there and be able to do them, but I think I need to work up to it or I'll be face down on the carpet my step sits on! I've looked at the guide for Cathe's workouts, but I think that's a rating for tough workouts, not focusing on the choreography involved.

Thanks so much for your help!

Hello!

I have KPC - some parts have been a challenge, but I worked my way up to completing the combos. I am not an experienced stepper but I am using the Basic Step and Cardio & Weights (I got it free with my step) to learn the basics to work my way up to Low Max. Everyone seems to love the calorie burn. When I have mastered a new combo I feel a great sense of acomplishment! Which is an added plus to my workouts!

Good Luck!

Hi Kris - I too struggle with complex choreo. Cathe's new DVD - Cardio Step is not too complicated, but does have alot of her signature moves. Also some of her older workouts, e.g. PowerMax, Step Heat, The Wedding Video, Interval Max, are not complex and will give you good practice for her newer workouts. I don't have any of her recent step workouts except Cardio Step. I'm still working on getting the choreo down before I graduate to the next level.

BTW - IMAX2 is another tough, but not too complicated workout.

Cathe's earlier stuff makes it much easier to learn her later stuff, because she breaks the workouts down more, and also because you can kinda see the evolution of moves from the "mere mortal" type into super-power moves. :)

I would start with either Cardio Hits or the Classics, as long as you don't mind '80s-style workout clothes (think: thongs over shorts) and hairstyles. I started with CH, and love both PowerMax and StepWorks. The workouts are NOT easy but they are easiER.

I had the same issue as you, and now I am a step junkie! I have graduated all the way up to Rhythmic Step (although I still can't get the 3rd combo all the way through), which is Cathe's most complex choreo. I have two left feet, so this can totally be done.

Good luck!
Marie

Thank you all so much! I thought I was the only one out there who struggled with the two left feet issue! You've helped me a bunch!

Thanks again,

Kris
