Hi Atiman! I started 1 1/2 yrs. ago w/BodyRX & obtained a wealth of knowledge from Dr. Connelly; never knew what the highest foods were when it came to fiber nor how much protein & fiber I was supposed to be consuming to pack on more muscle. However, the Dr. doesn't believe in counting calories. Well I packed on more muscle but never got any leaner than I am now. You still can see fat on my mid-section & my upper arms have a lot of muscle but still too much fat covering up the muscle. Even though I'm a size 2 believe me there are people that are skinny fat. That's why I became intrigued by leanness lifestyle; noticed how many people were sooo lean & had all their beautiful muscles showing through. I just started incorporating the lower calorie diet + I decided to do Cathe's Sept. rotation, which is very high intensity by the way, & already am seeing a difference especially in my mid-section. Took this advice from another thread from Trevor.

I stopped taking protein bars they just seem to upset my stomach but my shake happens to be a meal replacement one from ProLab in chocolate which is 390 cals. I usually just take this shake on weekends when I'm running around a lot & don't have time to make something; just use it for convenience.

Angela did say that I would need to tweak my diet to keep the fat % at 20 & since I've been jotting everything down so far so good. Just feeling so very tired b/c of this high intensity rotation; its a doosey!!

Hi There! Maybe Angela & Atima can help you more than I can. I still have quite a bit left to read in the book but you have to use Coach Dave's formulas from the book in order to determine from your weight how much you want to lose for your goal weight. Basically its a 40/30/20 plan high on the protein/moderate carbs/low fat. Its pretty easy to do. Coach Dave is having problems w/the site right now so you can't view anything but there's a Lean Account/Workout Generator/Nutrition Analyzer/Chat Forum. You can chat w/the coach over the phone on certain days to help you in any areas that you happen to be stuck on. HTH, Kathy:D
