leaner legs - OH - MY - GOSH!!!!

Okay, so I forgot how hard this tape was!!! I hadn't done it since March and I nearly fell over...the stop button on my VCR is my friend...I am going to feel it tomorrow! (but it's a good pain....)
kudos to all you cathe fans who can get through this tape! :) highly recommended for a really tough leg workout!

I did this tape yesterday for the first time and was really suprised that I woke up today not sore. And I added a couple reps at 40 lbs during the squats ( I was previously at 30). It was amazing that the added 10lbs didn't feel like much. My legs were shakin' though, as they always are during those plie squats. And don't even get me started on the one-legged squats..and those with low-ends..NO WAY!! Several times I did have to drop my weight during the set. But I was suprised at how much easier the step-ups were than in the Firm Standing Legs. Thought for sure Leaner Legs would be harder, but it has got to be a tie leaning toward SL. So many darn reps in that one, you know??

Another vote for LL. I still vote strongly for SL as well. One Firm tape I still like!!

I just did LL today! My legs are still warm and it's been 7 hours! I had to skip a few lunges. I use 20 lbs and for dead lifts, 30.

When I started back on Meaner Legs after a long absence it was killer. And I had one really twisted thought that only a Cathe enthusiast can appreciate: when I got to the sit and stand squats after the "round robin" of those lunges and step-ups, calf raises and deadlifts, I thought to myself "all right! It's only sit and stand squats!". ONLY sit and stand squats ?????????... how sick is that? They kill me in PS legs, but in Meaner Legs they feel like an actual rest. Crazy.

Hee hee! Julie, I do that ALL the time.

Just did MIC hi/lo (1st time) this morning and the knee-ups
were a welcome break to whatever it was that came before. I also found those plyo-heels to be a nice little rest period, too!
And in Power Hour, EVERYthing after those dreaded lunges is cake.
Those lunges...they are the bane of my existence!!! (...but I love 'em)

Haven't done LL yet...oooh I can't wait
:)

LL lunges are about equal I think to PH lunges, although can't remember if there are low-ends in PH??

Julie...I so much related to what you said. I was doing LL the other day and as soon as she said sit and stands I was like, "Thank GOD"!!!! Those feel really easy after the lunges. Although, when I do Standing Legs, the hover squats at the end I think are harder. Seems like you feel them more.

I just got that tape a couple weeks ago. I have done it twice. OMG, it is a true killer for me!!! Burn baby burn. I think I will put it on the back of my shelf for awhile.lol
