Laser tx for acne Part2

Ok, it has now been 96 hours since my treatment. WOW! I can't believe the change in my skin. NO new breakouts, and the peppering (the freckles and dark spots) that I was complaining about all came off last night when I washed my face. I have now changed my opinion of this procedure. I definitely would do it again. I haven't had a single new blemish and I can't remember the last time I can say that. My skin looks so clear and clean, I can't believe it. Thank God for modern medispa treatments. I know that no one may be interested, it's just I have been battling with this for 15 years and nothing has helped my acne. I just wanted to give anyone else with this problem some hope that something might work for them too.

Mikkia,
As someone who is finishing her last month of Accutane (thank God!), I am very much interested in your posts about this procedure, and I'm sure others are as well. :) Last time you posted, you sounded understandably concerned. Glad to hear that it's done such good things for your skin. Is it supposed to eliminate the acne for good?

Congratulations! I've battled with acne since I was a teenager, and in January I decided to give ProActiv Solution a try. I was skeptical, since I had a friend who tried it years ago and she said it didn't work for her, but it has completely blown away my expectations. I am in love with the stuff! It smells great, and my first shipment of the 3-step system (plus the mask, which I totally love) lasted until mid-June. If any of you ladies are looking for a skin solution and haven't tried ProActiv, I highly recommend it, it's been wonderful for me. :)

I think that they say that the breakouts will be diminshed dramatically because the laser kills the bacteria that causes some types of acne. The Dr also said I may need to have a treatment to keep the results occasionally.
I did try proactive, but my problem became dry skin and cystic acne at the same time! I am so glad it works for you!

Mikkia-
I am wondering about this for my DH. He's in his fifties and doesn't really get break-outs anymore, but he has these more permanent blemishes on his face. He has cysts in his back, and lots of scarring on his back, and very large pores which cause blackheads. He hasn't been to a dermatologist in decades, but I'm trying to convince him to go to see if anything can be done. I guess I'll mention your process to the doc when we go. What is it called exactly?
