Just wanted to check in and let you ladies know that it's another rockin' Saturday night here at the old homestead. DH is endlessly channel surfacing and mumbling, "why the &*^% do we pay for cable anyway?" and I have just finished reading the latest riveting performance report for our retirement investments. Later we'll fall most likely fall alseep over our magazines, waking up just long enough to turn out the lights and roll over. Woo hoo!

Never let it be said we don't know how to have a good time. :D

Well, I'm by myself tonight and I was also channel surfing while muttering obscenities under my breath. How can there be so many channels and yet NOTHING worth watching! Although, the 1953 version of War of the Worlds is on one of the Cinemax channels and I might watch that. I'm about to look up a few movies playing on In Demand on the Movie Review Query Engine.

Oh yeah. I'm sitting here checking out Cathe.com while my SO plays with the dog. In a little while, I'll have a shower, put my pjs on and fall asleep on the couch.

Never let it be said we don't know how to tear it up;)

DH and I took a ride up north to drop Joey at DH's mom's house for an overnight visit and then we can home and laid on (separate!) couches to watch tv until about 11pm. He is now in bed and here I sit...HO HUM!

Just call me a wild child....NOT! :p

LOL. I wasn't even awake to catch this post. I fell asleep before 8:30...DH tucked me in bed...then back to work on his law school paper. YEEE HAWWW!!!

Whooee! You babes know how to rock! I was a party animal last night. DH and went to a 60th birthday party for a friend from church. We were the youngest one's there, at 50. We played some goofy, yet fun, games the party-girl's daughter invented, then ate too much shrimp, mini quiches and cake. Home by 7, in bed by 8:30. Whew, it was tough getting out of bed this AM, as you can imagine.

Sparrow -

You had me laughing! It's soo nice to know that DH and I aren't the only party animals out there! I did too much of a workout, managed to cook a good meal, then was asleep watching the Olympics by 8:30.

We went out to dinner for Valentine's Day and our DD asked, "So, when will you guys be home?" We responded, "Oh about 9:30." She raised a brow and said with all the sarcasm a 16 yo can muster, "Wow, you party animals you!" Oh well...

I'm with you guys, except I don't have sarcastic kids!! :p Small bonus.

We watched PBS, believe it or not. They were showing the original Pink Panther. I was asleep by 8:30, on the couch, until midnight when it took all I had just to get into bed!!!

Seems like there's a whole lotta sleeping going on, ladies! :p

You know, the wildest thing I did all weekend was tuck a little bacon into my grilled cheese sandwich. Nitrates be damned! What can I say? I enjoy life on the edge....

LMAO @ Sparrow! Don't fall over the edge, now (or at least wait for me to get there) :p
