RE: Hoping he goes home soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was so excited to see your posting about your son and so glad to hear that he is home and gaining weight well.
I had almost the exact same situation as you. My daughter, Jesse, just turned 19 months. She was born at 30 weeks gestation. My water broke at 27 weeks and I was hospitalized until her birth. Luckily, her lungs were developed due to beta-methazone. She was in the intensive care nursery for 5 weeks after her birth. She also weighed 4 1/2 pounds when we brought her home.
I think I know how difficult this has been for you. I know how hard and sometimes frustrating the pumping the storing of breat milk can be. But please let me tell you that FINALLY after Jesse was 3 months old she started nursing well. AND she is still nursing. I figured it took us so long to get it right we might as well keep doing it!
You have been through ALOT, take it easy. It took me over a year to really start working out again and I don't even work outside of the home.
