Kurt Kinetic Rock n Roll Trainer (bike)- opinions??

I found these online and think they look awesome. From the reviews, the only negative is the weight. They make the regular and pro version - the pro giving an extra flywheel for more endurance riding, allowing for coasting even. I think I would spend the extra cash for this. My question is - have any of you bike riders, who train inside, know anything about this? Currently I use the Cycleops Fluid 2 and like it - no problems at all - but it can be a little noisy and I like the slight lack of stability with this Rock n Roll trainer, although some argue whether or not actual core training comes into play. Thanks in advance!

I was looking to buy the KK also, but am leaning to the 1up which is here:

I've talked to a lot of my riding buddies and the rock n roll is somewhat of a gadget and half weren't impressed. I think it really would be a personal thing so maybe finding a bike shop with one that you could try would be the best avenue.

I've been out of town on a riding vacation before the snow hits, and we were actually talking about trainers. Most biggest issue was leaking, but the Kurt K is really a nice model if you go with it.

Hey girl - you're going to get a trainer????! Thanks for the links. I'd never heard of the one you are considering. I'll have to look into both. I should be able to sell mine for $100 something so that will help. The reviews of the KK on the link you gave are about the same as what I had also read. They also have a circular thing you put your front tire in and it will sort of swivel. How cool that your group was just discussing trainers. I'm on the verge of just getting all of the spinervals and being done with it, and of course, my shorts! Still need to order those. Hope you had a great riding trip :) How many miles?
