kpc/ slow and heavy

hopefull

Would kpc qualify as an interval workout? AND Would I get better results by doing cardio one day and one of the slow and heavy workouts on alternate days, or would doing 30 minutes of cardio and one body region of slow and heavy serve me better. I am trying to lose weight and tone especially my midsection. 1 hour a day is all I can beg, borrow or steal to work out.

kpc becomes more interval during the blasts at the end so its kindof inbetween at least thats my opinion. as far as kpc and slow and heavy either of the above ways you mentioned would be fine. you'll have to test it out and see which one you like the best and gives you the best results. try one for 4 weeks then switch to the other for 4 weeks. but most importantly make sure your diet is on track b/c no amount of working out will compensate for crappy eating. eating is 80% of your results.

and the clean eating is so much harder to do, but I know it's the missing link in my goals. I don't eat a lot, just not always the right things. I'm very busy and convenience sometimes outways smart choices. Thanks for the advice.

I wouldn't consider KPC an interval workout.

I find that spliting cardio and weight days usually works best for improvement in both. But doing cardio one day, and S&H the next day, with about 15-20 minutes of cardio either before (as an extended warm-up) or after could work as well.

I don't think S&H is the best choice for losing weight, however. A higher-volume workout with less rest between sets would work better (like MM, for example, or the weight work from CTX). S&H is great for increasing strength and some muscle size.

I've preordered the new series. I'm thinking they might also work well for this. I'm going to try your suggestions. CTX is my favorite, but I have to really psyche myself up for Meaner, I mean Leaner legs!!!! Oh, those low ends!!!! I've been doing SH because I want strength gains. It's working, but I've been doing it for 3 weeks and that's about all I can take of this workout. I'm getting good results as far as strength is concerned.
